Ashley Jones just doesn't have that fierceness and rawness that Jennifer Finnigan had. When they try to give her a backbone, she comes off as a little girl trying to act like a grown woman. I think they try to write Bridget to match Jones' strengths, but its just not working. Jones is so miscast in this role, and they refuse to write the character as anything but a doormat.
