I also can't help it that a small part of me sees it as mildly homophobic EVEN though I knwo I'll get yelled at for that--Ron the writer is most likely gay, it was done to shock the people of Mendorrah etc etc. but to turn Carlo into such an easily defeated villain? And much like the time travel story, Mendorra is so weirdly written--is the country meant to be rich or poor, old fashioned or modern?
