From what I recall, Marty and Todd did sleep together in college, once. And when Marty then rejected him at the fateful frat party, he and his buddies then gang raped her. So it's not technically a lie.

I always wanted Powell Lord III or Zach Rosen (the other "forgotten" rapists) to come back and stir up trouble for Todd. Powell would be the obvious choice because he's also related to Viki. But Zach Rosen would leave more flexibility to go anywhere with Zach's past.

Ah okay, thanks. I'm not familiar with their history except that he ganged raped her.

Their scenes were so good yesterday because it was so disturbing and I loved how almost every scene ended on Todd - loved the subtext.

This is exactly what I wanted - Brody and Gigi get closer while Rex is out of town. This triangle is setting up perfectly.

Great scenes with Todd/Marty again. He's telling her these half truths and you could feel Todd's guilt.

Todd Manning is vile. he brutally ganged raped Marty and he kidnaps her and tells her that she slept with him? He then proceeds to joke with her about how she told him that he was bad in bed. She then apologizes to him if she hurt him. WTF? He is beyond sick and a descpicable person. I can barely wach this storyline and I want it ended ASAP. Watching Marty be manipulated and victimized again is not cool or entertaining

I still want to know where they are going with this and what they plan on doing with this Marty/Todd storyline. It obvious that they are setting up a love triangle with McBain/Blair/Todd but what are they plan on doing with Marty in this equation?

I really loved the Dorian scenes today. It is so nice to see her vulnerable and to see that she really does have a heart, and a conscious. I can't wait to see where this goes. I also loved the David scenes and I just wish he'd tell them why he can't take their offer. I want SOMEONE to know that Viki died, if only for a short time. I also enjoyed, much to my surprise, the Gigi and Brody scenes. I could get behind them...

Same here and it is shaping up quite nicely with the kiss at the end, I did not expect that!

I don't mind the Todd and Marty story because I know he is lying to her about everything out of spite not because he is falling for her. Todd will get his once her memory returns and she finds out all his lies.

Pretty good episode but I miss 1968.

Why can't David take the offer? I was confused

 Not that again. the lady created it. She personally groomed Gordon Russell to take over from her, and he wrote prob the show's best, and longest consistantly good era, AND Michael Malone has said he went and learned a lot from her when he started--her knowledge of the overall stories seemed to show she kept on eye on the show (he was so won over by what she told him of the history fo the show he felt the viewers should see it again too and created the week long of flashbacks during Megan's death). What more do you want from the lady.

Yes I found one from a recent Off Broadway play--she actually (it wasn't too clear) seems to have aged similarly to Erika. Either way I don't think Vicki had much story the era Joanne was on (was Gillian's last major story the stalking of her by Marcie or someone? She was played by a future soap writer I believe and tried to make it look like Niki was back--or was it the return of Joe?)

Oh I know she saw Nicki back then (well I'd forgotten, but...) but when you're gonna see SOO many great old characters it's one thing--when you see, like 3, and one of them is Nicki, it's another thing. I was gonna comment on the makeup--Torpey was done up like she was going to an awards show, but Erika wasn't.

Man I'll have to see that ep if I'm ever in New York--is the Paley Center the same as the Museum of TV and Radio? Do you remember what year it was from or what other characters are in it? I love the one 1969 ep in B&W everyone has prob seen but it's a shame we see Meredith but no Vicki.

    • I’m up to October 2, 1996. Ugh, the opening was updated to add Zachary and Dahlia, and remove Vanessa.  I guess this means Maeve left the show and everyone will just assume Vanessa died in her car wreck, so sad.  Matt found the MRI test results from the mail, just before Vanessa’s memorial, but Nola convinced him that no test results matter at this point. They also gave Nola the short Vanessa haircut now, so it’s throwing me off haha. Btw, how is Quint not around for any of this? He just came back full-time, but then couldn’t be available for his sister’s memorial? Billy is back!  He just showed up at the hospital and gave Josh a big hug. So did Reva, and Reva finally just mentioned that she calls Dylan every week (ha!).  He has 24 hours out of jail for deaths in the family, so I guess he isn’t staying right now beyond the memorial. He’s pushing Reva/Josh as a couple to Reva. I feel so bad for Matt during this whole thing. Watching him break down at the beach is heartbreaking. Rick just told Phillip about his one-night stand with Blake, and now Amanda just told Roger the truth in front of all of them about Rick being one of the fathers. Blake denies it, Roger doesn’t believe it, but Amanda is so bad and I kind of love it haha. Zachary is now obsessed with Michelle and saved her from drowning. He called her Mary until he corrected her and said she’s Michelle. Was there a Mary in the Bauer family? It seems like he recognizes her from a long time ago. It seems like Michelle is done with J for good, as she’s now developing a crush on Zachary. It looks like they’re going with a J/Dahlia/Marcus triangle, away from Michelle. So Griffin was behind his assassination attempt?  Weird and I don’t care. Roger got electric shock treatments now and is acting differently, like a changed man who is overly nice, but of course it’s an act. I sure hope he ultimately gets the upper hand and we can get him out of this hospital. Blake and Hart seemed to be upset that Dinah allowed the treatments to happen, but those two are too little, too late for me. Annie is now missing work because of the pill addiction; things are getting worse. Annie just went off on Abby at work, so you can tell she’s getting angrier. What I do like about this story is how quickly others began to question her pill taking, and it’s not some secret that lasts for months. Josh just caught Reva skinny dipping at the creek and Annie found her diner apron and realized they were together. I really think Kim Zimmer puts a lot of herself into the Reva character haha. I’m in the middle of reading her book and Kim and her friends are into skinny dipping in real life! Overall, a boring month but I’m looking forward to another holiday season in Springfield for something new and fun (I love the holidays). I think I’m now going into McTavish and Laibson’s last month as HW and EP. I’ve got to say, post-Marion/Brent, McTavish’s big umbrella storylines of 1996 (Lonatrat and A. Spauling/5th Street) were huge busts. Lonatrat made everyone unlikeable and A. Spaulding/5th Street was so slow and uninteresting. Otherwise, my thoughts on the smaller B storylines: Grant family/Griffin was so gross and unnecessary; Dahlia/Marcus is boring; Holly/Fletch/Meg is nonexistent; Zachary and his meddling, I’m on the fence; Abby/Rick pairing I like; Blake/Ross/Rick and the twins I like; Annie and her pill addiction I like, but the slow Reva/Josh movement is boring and I lump Reva’s return into the 5th Street storyline because she’s mostly just with Buzz and Alan.
    • Murder, She Wrote appeals to viewers of all walks of life. It doesn't feel outdated at all and there's still that feeling of comfort and warmth when watching it. Murder, She Wrote was a show I took for granted as a kid/teen but its a show I appreciate so much more as an adult. I think it will live on forever in reruns, DVDs, streaming.

    • It's too much!  Madison has potential as a character. I enjoy what the actress has shown so far in her limited scenes. But I must say that Madison playing off Chelsea and especially the way she was acting was giving a grown adult talking to a teenager.
    • I'm sorry, I can't contain myself as I am playing catch-up.   NOSY NURSE IS GETTING A STORYLINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????   YASSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    • She should've called Jacob and reported her for stalking!
    • Yes...I was like what the hell is she doing. Finding every moment to talk to her too while she's at work. It was just super desperate.
    • really! her father has a stroke and all she can think about is getting laid?! but, while chelsea’s behavior isn’t really all that surprising, madison’s defies belief. the writers went out of their way to reduce her age, since what 30-year old attending neurologist would be gushing like a teenager, and going live on social media with a patient’s daughter? on another note: i’ve never watched either y&r or b&b, but for the past three days, b&b has been on (long story:) but three episodes with nothing but characters endlessly rehashing the danger sociopath luna presents to steffy was excruciating! nothing happened, no character development, nothing happening among the characters — just crazy luna, over and over and over.  have no idea if this is standard for b&b. but, if it is, btg not holding b&b viewers makes sense.
    • I thought today's show was rather dull. I enjoyed yesterday's show much more. The best part of today's show was Shanice!
    • Thank you for the clarification!
