Good episode today. Anybody who's missed the Mendorra stuff got what they wanted, which is nice.

Tina keeps me rolling, I swear. Where my "Sesame Street" people at? Doesn't Tina remind you of Prairie Dawn?

David, Addie, and David Vickers looked so sweet in their matching shirts lol. I want Addie and David to fall in love for real, damn it!

I thought it was kind of sloppy to make Cain and Antonio former fellow inmates, just to NOT have to explain who Cain was to Antonio. As soon as Antonio (and Cristian, who was NOT in prison with Cain) recognized him, I was like, how do THEY know Cain? He was off the show before the Vegas existed! And I still wasn't clear on Cristian knowing him, and Cain's alias Humberto Kalderon, when Cristian wasn't in Statesville (at least at the same time) and I doubt Antonio got out of jail and started telling Cristian and Carlotta all about Cain Rogan around the diner counter.

And why does Cain always use aliases with the initials H.K.?! I hope there's a reason for it, because I don't think it's ever been explained, and I think it's very curious.

Note: Cristian slid the sword down the BACK of his pants.... HOT! The thoughts that brought up in me.... I didn't notice any underwear in there either!

Loved David Vickers the dog in the courtroom! He barked on cue, looked SO scared shaking from the sound of the banging gavel, and didn't make another peep after the judge called the room to order!

Bo packed up his entire apartment and left?! Go get him Rex!

Lindsay's line was perfect: "What are you going to do without me?" It was equal parts completely self-centered, and also right on the money because as much as Nora won't admit it, she thrives on trying to "get" Lindsay.

So I'm guessing that Clint will go to Dorian and offer to break up David and Addie's marriage, if she restores Cramer Enterprises to Buchanan Enterprises and its former owners? That's a little short-sighted and if things are so easily resolved as far as the company, then Nash's death was REALLY useless. I need to see at least Dorian retaining ownership and LETTING Clint run the company for her (with him still plotting to somehow get it back but not succeeding for a long while) and possibly Clint telling David that he's a Buchanan to keep David's hands off Addie's money, but I don't think Clint would be that self-sacrificing. Maybe Clint will try to seduce Addie away from David, driving a wedge between Clint and Nora? There are a lot of things they can do with it, but I don't want the Buchanans to get B.E. back just yet!

Carlo was VERY Darth Vader with his "I AM YOUR FATHER!" but I can't help but love him. I'm still wondering about his master plan, and I love that Antonio will now realize he's fallen in love with a girl whose father is his worst nightmare. THAT'S damn good conflict for Antonio, for once in my life. I love Talia so much. Friday was a different side to them, you could see Talia WANTED their relationship to be different (you kept tabs on me? I kept tabs on you. I know you could have swooped down and taken us back whenever you wanted to... but you had no use for me! And now you do... you need something from me!) So she wants to be wanted/needed by her father, and then shows up the target Carlo intends to use Talia against: Antonio.

And Viki asserting that they will have to get Natalie and Jared set up in their roomS! Go Viki! You keep your tramp daughter's legs closed!

Great episode, I enjoyed so much of it!

    • We all knew that TT is busy so if she's off screen for a bit except for phone calls and/or visits.. then it is what is. Ashley was nicely used as support... which the writers should have been doing since day 1 so that viewers could understand why exactly she's on the show LOL Chelsea/Madison.... seems too good to be true... we shall see. Shanice as a PT... if it means more airtime.. I'm good.
    • Yeah, he's a mobster with Vanessa while his wife cozies up to mobsters as the worst mayor in America.
    • He's too busy in Maryland with a younger blonde woman.

    • The rumor Zimmer writes about sounds like something Paul Rauch would have told Zimmer about Jacqueline Courtney as a way to discredit Courtney as Rauch loved to do that sort of thing. Zimmer probably just retroactively fit it into her story. Zimmer does not have good sense of time in her memoir. Who knows?!!? Zimmer strikes me as someone who always has to be competing with women.  Zimmer and 1986: If I had no context and someone told me that someone in the 1986 scenes would win four Emmys, I would immediately pick Denniston. Granted, I've only watched about a week's worth, but my word, Zimmer just fades into the background even when she's the main player in the storyline. There's no life in her performances. It feels that Zimmer is unhappy and that she's letting it impact her acting.
    • I'm dreading going into the ninth season; I've got to be mentally ready for it.

Does not help these seasons are damn near thirty episodes. Twenty-two should've been their cut-off.
    • True. I did enjoy the episodes surrounding Greg's faux death, too. @Liberty City Agreed, it started pretty slow, but once Jill falls off the cliff, I was more invested for some reason. Yes, I genuinely enjoyed the episodes surrounding Greg's fake death. I agree, it began quite slowly, but once Jill fell off the cliff, I became much more invested for some reason. I guess bc more of the cast was working together.
    • Shouldn't Laura talk to Kevin first before agreeing to her brother Martin moving in with them? Her house is like a hotel for people she never sees -- like Lucky, who she's unaware of his latest departure as a man who runs away from everything. Meanwhile, Lucky is busy giving away his cabin to Isaiah, who we've barely seen him with.
    • With Sean Kanan as Carl Ivati.
    • These episodes have been delightful so far. I enjoyed everyone who stood at the podium today, as it reminded me of all the decades of history.
