Members TC
We'll see how well your favoured combo does for Tammin. And you're right, what I said was uncalled for. I apologize.
Members y&r_fan
^Apology accepted. And they're not necessarily my favored combo - I just think they should be given a chance. I hope Hogan can give us some compelling storylines (just make Sabrina evil or something!), less of Gloria, and also give Phyllis her edge back. Members NYC123
#1: Felicia Minei Behr #2: Francesca James These two women are GREAT! I think they would be a good fit at Y&R.
Members EricMontreal22
Hrmm Francesca James was good at AMC but not great IMHO--she never seemed to really have a vision. I'm not sure how she'd do in the current era of Bloom's and Frons' having more say
Members Y&RWorldTurner
A pic of Barbara Bloom with Bill Bell Jr., Steven Kent from Sony, and Melody Thomas Scott. It's obvious that the Bell's and Sony have the power to not listen to Bloom and her stupid suggestions, but they refuse to. Why did the Bell's and Sony allow this woman to destroy a show that had been free of network interference FOR YEARS? I no longer squarely blame Bloom, this one rests squarely on Bill Bell Jr. and Steven Kent. Two stupid men who didn't understand the saying, "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." I hope Billy is proud, his father must be spinning in his grave after what he allowed to happen to the show his father poured so many years of blood, sweat, and tears into. Members LeClerc
Yeah James is the weaker of the two.....however I think she would be a better fit for Y&R. I can't see Behr meshing well with the very coporate Y&R.
Members Soapsuds
Damn..he is old. I guess Bradley Bell is the youngest....oh wait the bug is the youngest.
Members detroitpiston
Amen! Especially with the bolded part. BB.JR and Kent should have never let Bloom get her and her friends get their claws into Y&R.
Members EricMontreal22
Well isn't Bell Jr focused on his own show? How much does he have to do with Y&R creatively besides helping make executive decisions? Surely he wasn't pleased with Bloom nixing the B&B crossover... Members bandbfan
His wife is HW of Y&R, so he has to have his hand in that show just because of that. And then he's president of Bell Dramatic Serial which co-owns Y&R.
Members EricMontreal22
ugh I shoulda said nothing--I was mixing Bill Jr and Bradley up
Members Y&RWorldTurner
Hurry up Bloom and fire Griffith and find a respectable replacement! Griffith is mismanaging this show like crazy and once again Y&R is at its all time low ratings in HH's. I'll never understand how these people are still employed after costing the show over 500,000 viewers in the span of a couple of months!
Members Sylph
I think you should start a topic Barbara Bloom Must Be Fired. It's not going to happen, but one can hope.
