I am still trying to learn the name of a character on Loving. He was an African-American high school student who was the son of Corinth's Lt. Art Hindman. He was in class with the character that Luke Perry played. He did not know how to read, but he had been socially promoted every year despite the fact that he was iliterate.

I don't think these have been posted. I just discovered this channel with good promos like Tina disguised as a nun on OLTL.

I also get that feeling (even more) with that other dance clip at the bottom of page 43. It would have been different, at least.

Isn't it sobering to realize that the soap considered the closest to cancellation at that time probably had a bigger budget than anything on now?

Oof, that was some Bobby and James Ford-type acting.

Love seeing Minnie again and hearing "real" music in the background.

I have episodes of both Loving and The City including for both the first and last shows for both series. For my complete list of Vintage Soap Opera episodes email me at [email protected]

Originally considered for the role of Minnie was the late actress/singer Lillian Hayman (One Life to Live, All My Children).

Has anyone ever visited SoHo, and tried to find the building which was featured on The City? I was there around a decade ago, looking for the address -- and quickly found it didn't exist. Greene Street doesn't go down that far. So, I looked for the building anyway, since I knew it was in SoHo, regardless of the address. I was unable to recognize the building anywhere. How about you? Does anyone know the real address of the building? Any photos?

I'm almost certain it's 109 Prince Street, which I think is also 109 Greene Street (it's at the corner of Prince & Greene).

Go to this link and scroll a little over half-way down to the building under the "109 Prince Street" plaque: http://forgotten-ny.com/2012/06/prince-street/

When I was in New York I didn't bother looking for it because I had just assumed "Greene Street" was made up for the show. Only later did I realize there actually was Greene street and that the building was indeed on it. (I guess they used 212 because it's the New York area code?)
