With apologies to P.J., Noelle sucked @$ yet again today! Sorry, but she just sucks. And I'll never get used to her. I've tried...and my mother's succeeded in welcoming her with open arms (traitor!), but nobody can pull off a scene with as much explosive chemistry between two actresses as Elizabeth Hubbard and Martha Byrne.

Actually, I find Noelle to be a better actress than Martha. She doesn't bring any of the annoying qualities Martha did when she played the role. The only thing she lacks IMO is strong chemistry with some actors. Then again, Martha had over 20 years to form a bond with them and Noelle has had what a month so I'll let that pass. All in all she's doing a fantastic job IMO and has quickly one me over with her portrayl!

I agree...I think it's time to pull the plug on Paul/Meg. I could have been alright with them, before Rosanna returned. I just think that both Paul and Meg are shallow human beings who bring out the worst in each other.

The problem with Chris/Ali/Aaron is that both couples have been done before, and there's no overwhelming reason for anyone to believe that either couple should reunite. I had been leaning toward Chris, but his pissy bitchfest, throwing Ali's porn past in her face disgusted me.

Holden and Carly are the cure for insomnia. I thought maybe I was just being my Carjack 'shipper self...but it's like the more intense the moment is supposed to be, the less chemistry appears. And it's not that Maura isn't trying to sell it. It's like whatever Jon is putting in to the scene just lays there like a rotten egg. (IMO...before anyone tries to bite my head off... IMO, IMO, IMO.) And there is something really annoying about how Jon's tone never changes. Even when he was angry with Lily and Carly last week...the tone didn't change. The volume did, a little...but not one inflection of his speech.

Mike...I fear for him. TIIC don't seem to have a plan for him beside the initial stuff with Katie. Meggie is leading him around with a choke collar. It drives me nuts. He acts like they're a couple, and she feeds off it when she's pissed at Paul! Then when she's not, Mike is dead to her. WTFever.

ICAM. I have been tired of Mighty Mouse Mike for a looooong time and his actions toward Meg have not changed my mind. If TIIC had to bring back a Kasnof they should have brought back the brother, who IMO would have been a much better love interest for Meg.

WTF? is Chris's problem? And why (honestly) is Ali shutting him down? I could see if she had been raped or almost raped or been through a traumatic event of some sort, but she hasn't been. There's no reason for her to stall unless she's just not in love with Chris like she thinks she is.

And am I gonna have to make it a habit to at every mention of Ali's porn past that seems to be thrown in her face every time someone gets angry with her? I'm dreading this.

More interesting trivia....while watching a L&O:CI marathon, I realized Daniel Hugh Kelly played the congressman that Logan was demoted and shipped away for striking back in the day.

If Lily Snyder was just another character who'd been on the show for a couple of years, Noelle would be fine in the role. She's beautiful and talented and working her ass off - and doing a good job.

Unfortunately, we're talking about LILY. The character that, for better or worse, is the most recognizable and iconic character on that show at the moment (one could also argue Lisa Grimaldi is bigger than Lily, but she's been on the outskirts for so many years, I just can't see her that way). Martha may not have had the dynamic presence that, say, Maura has, or the sophistication of Colleen Zenk-Pinter. But she was vital and valuable in a way that nobody else on that show is, except maybe Liz Hubbard. There's nothing offensive or insulting about anything Noelle is doing, but she's just not Lily, and every time she's on the screen, although it isn't her fault, her mere presence just shines a light on the insane ego that's running that show into the ground.

Unfortunately, I don't count to that ego, and it won't ever see this post.

The only part of the show that I even was remotely interested in was the Winston/Luke/Noah/Amerra scenes finally after months the storyline seems to be moving. Paul/Meg/Sofie just gag me. Ali/Chris/Aaron still pointless in my eyes.
