Last weeks thread inspired me to get Excel out and do more graphs. Y&R (did anybody notice that Y&R, so far, is averaging the same amount of viewers this season that they averaged last season?) and B&B are not included in the graphs because it skews too much, they're too high above the rest.

It is funny, because this # of viewers thing really does create a different picture, no? If all I had were these charts, I'd say soaps were not in trouble at all. Part of it, of course, represents the large y-axis scale, so that small shifts are not so perceptible

These ratings would be for last week

IMO there wasn't really anything memorable last week that the ratings should rise from......

ZF, I think wic knows (correct me if I'm wrong) that and just was emphasizing that although she wants them to rise for this week, she really wants the big rise for THIS weeks programs next week.

AMC Viewers Chart, for 2003-2004 Season on (I left out the Bianca gets Miranda back week which got 4.5 million viewers because of the skew again - no other week went past 4.1 million since Sept. 2003)...

The big Nuke kiss would affect the ratings that come out next week, right? (If it has any effect at all). Just losing track of time here...

Unless there was another kiss I do believe the ratings already came out for the kiss episode because I remember some discussion about it in the ratings thread.
