LK said on her board that WdV was in Brad's office every other day trying to tell him that they'd be dynamite together, and both wanted it to happen, so maybe it was considered but then Brad needed a sacrificial lamb for the sweeps.

Felicia and Storm were one of my favorite potential couple that never happened

After talking with WDV, who was pushing for a Stomla coupling, TPTB and senses wouldn't allow it after it was revealed that Storm shot Stephanie because there's no way that Felicia would date her mother's shooter.

Maybe they could use that. Falling in love with him despite what happened, against her wishes. Felicia would deny herself her happiness and would hate herself for having feelings for Storm, of all people. It would make for a great story if it happened.

IA. It would have made for some romantic angst. Seriously, I could have done without the Brooke/Ridge/Nick/Bridget crap or even TayRick (who I liked) for a chance to see Fifi & Storm. The thing with WdV was that he could play this troubled, boyish guy who had something quite innocent and sadly sweet about him... but who also had this angry, dark side.

Not taking anything away from the shows over the past two weeks because they have been Emmy-worthy... but over the long-term I am seriously bummed that they let WdV go. He is SO needed. And so is Lesli Kay for that matter.

That looks like a photo taken during the annual cast photo shoot, given the outfits that they are wearing and the background. During those shoots, the photographer often takes photos of current pairings on the show as well as potential future ones. Like during the 2005 shoot, Brooke was photographed with Ridge and Nick individually as well as with both. Maybe given all the times where, pre-shooting, someone (including William deVry himself) said "Storm and Felicia would be good together," they decided to take the photo to see how they looked, only to have TPTB later go in a different direction?

Thats exactly why they SHOULD have been paired together. Only a select few knew about Stephanie's shooting. Felicia was not one of them. They should have had them dating and falling for each other and then had Felicia find out and turn on him. It would create some interesting dynamics and drama as she tried to fight her feelings for him despite what he had done. There was tons of story potential there

Storm & Felicia were supposed to happen prior to the shooter reveal - which was then pushed forward as the show closed this chapter just on it's very last pre-strike days. Seems Kay Alden either had a different opinion on this pairing or Brad Bell wanted to give her a fresh start with the shooting story being over and done with.

It definitely was a wasted opurtunity.

BTW: Couple pics are often taken randomnly at the annual photo shoot. These things take place in November and are supposed to be the publicity material for the next year. No storyline projection is set in stone at such an early date. For instance some years ago they were taking pictures of Thorne with Megan, yet they were never even remotely linked on the show...
