Yup, Carlavti was getting 2.0's as well for HH numbers. I thought OLTL was so boring on Thursday and Friday of that week I watched. I found AMC more entertaining with Jesse and Angie.

OLTL should be so much hire. Ugh

ABC sucks in general. Frons stinks....................

AMC/OLTL/GH used to ocupy the #3, #4, #5 spots last year. Now they are at the bottom of the pack...........

Why not? LOL Just do something HUGE, something WACKY, something never done before, or something that's been done but take it to a whole new level......something only the demented mind of Jim Reilly can think of.......and this HAS to be done with Erica Kane, you make her the center of your show. For God's sake, use the BIGGEST STAR in daytime, Susan freakin Lucci!! Use her for publicity: ET, Access Hollywood, Extra, The View, Ellen, etc Have SOD/SOW have her constantly on the covers. Get Entertainment Weekly and TvGuide and any other entertainment mag do pieces on this insane storyline. Go BIG, go Jim Reilly BIG, go Susan Lucci BIG!

Just an idea. :)

Ageed!! For example, Thursday's AMC had Jesse and Angie. I enjoyed the show. OLTL appears and the vets are on with the newbies. Boy was I bored to death. I was so bored that I changed the channel and started watching Days instead. BORING is the best word to describe OLTL right now.

I agree! Jesse & Angie's storyline is boring and slightly dumb, but I still found some entertainment value out of it thanks to David Rasche, who makes me LOVE to HATE Robert Gardner.

I think it was yesterday I tried to watch OLTL, saw a Clint & Bo scene where they were arguing about something, and was bored out of my mind.........

    • To bring over from the May Sweeps Thread from @Chris B   I know the fashions have gotten mixed reviews but I actually like what the new costume designer is putting the cast in. It feels more modern and the more tacky pieces I feel make sense for rich people. They're buying for the brand and the price and we often see celebs in things like this. Especially for a character like Nikki, I feel the more over the top (and tacky), the more realistic it is.   I agree. While it has been hit and miss no question, I have found it fascinating to watch what the costume designer is attempting to do with the various characters and their clothes. Some have been overdue. Some have been fascinating. But (outside of Billy) not boring to watch. I definitely find it more modern as well.   My growing issue has been it's not good that the best reason to watch Y&R as of late has been to see what people are wearing rather than the writing. It feels like a red flag.
    • Haha. The fact that I stopped regularly viewing at the same time and know what you are talking about is chef's kiss.    I'm slowly bingewatching Nurse's Ball Week. But it's slow for me because a lot of the same tics and writing flaws for me that made me throw up my hands is still evident *cough*CVE*cough* Thankfully, there are some things I like also and from a glance in the GH May Thread, it seem like it had a good Sweeps with good fallout. And do I even need to mention Nina finally slapping the taste out of Carly's mouth? See? Regardless of her flaws, I do enjoy Korte-headed episodes over CVE-headed episodes because they always seem to have more emotional resonance to long-time fans.
    • And that charity does still get mentioned from time to time. I want to say the last time was some time this year, too.
    • Oh, no. Vernon has definitely had his moments.   Choose silence anyone?
    • Search YT for Edwyn Sanchez, he posted an AI enhanced episode of ATWT and it is beautiful.
    • That's so funny, that's how I listen to Montecito - while walking my dog. I'll have to check out Forever & a Day.
    • I need to listen! Forever & a Day was a fun soapy podcast to have available when I walked the dog.
    • A few years ago, Devon and Nick started a charity organization together, I think it's for housing in the community.
    • I’m hoping to start getting to know Vernon better this month. He’s really only been a bunch of noble and good tropes so far. I don’t want him to be taken down the way Ted has been, but it seems he was a long-running Senator and no matter what party you are, lasting longer than twenty years means you’re looking out for you (and not who you’re supposed to be looking out for) most of all. I want to get to know both Vernon and Anita beyond their Dupree posturing. Clifton Davis can sleepwalk handling the kind of material Christopher Bernau and David Lewis handled and I’d like to see more than just a saint.
    • I thought Emily/Hal was a really interesting pairing. And I think KMH played that version of Emily very well! It might not have been what people wanted from Emily, and the writing got pretty gross at the end, but I thought she embodied that character effectively.
