It would have been so easy to bring Dixie back from the dead too. She was dating that rich guy who helped her find Kate. Why not just say he used the Satin Slayer as a cover, drugged her so everyone thought she was dead and she's now living as his prisoner. It's not exactly original, but it would have gotten the job done.

I think that is why rumors are floating around that show destroyers B&E are almost out and a beloved writer, who is popular and knows the show, will come on board to bring it out of the dumps

As someone who anticipated Dixie having Tad's little girl for 2 decades, I will remain beyond disgusted if she only comes back briefly as a ghost. As Vee mentioned, why can't Uncle Robert have more of an agenda with Tad. If he faked Jesse's death (who died in his wife DOCTOR Angela Hubbard's arms) then he could have faked Dixie's death too. If they were able to fake Babe's death (who died the same way as Dixie except she had the drug DIRECTLY put into her blood stream and did not receive immediate medical treatment - unlike Dixie who did) then Dixie's death would be very believeable to have faked. I don't want no freaking Ghost Dixie!
