Where do you see Nuke fans upset? She did say that she thought the coming out story was well written and honest. Maybe she realizes what a bad actor Jake is and isn't a Nuke fan. I certainly wouldn't disagree with her there. Cowboy Jack is a better actor.

In December or in January 09, we should see if Lily (Martha + NuLily) has been on the same amount in 08 as she was in 07. That would be interesting to see if she ends up being on the same amount!

When I'm wrong, I'm wrong; I'd heard both she and Jon Hensley simply wanted to put an end to Lilden, which I felt was not an unreasonable request after her years of loyalty. But what they did here is just even more heinous. Unbelievable. ATWT does not need to foster more ill will against the production right now. That show is unwatchable.

I can't believe she let the crazier loons send her some cruder comments, but she played them off well.

It's too bad that Martha wanted a simple guarantee, but I'm afraid refusing to give them is what soaps are all about these days. No show, especially ATWT, can promise airtime when a talent like Scott Bryce can be hired and fired in less than a year. They want leeway to make irrational changes as their budgets dictate. At this point, Maura West might be sent home in the time between getting her makeup done and blocking her first scene of the day. Other than that, I'm so glad that Martha picked the episode I wanted her to for Emmy submission, featuring Lily's decision to enter rehab.

^ You're forgetting they just upgraded Sofie to contract and she's very popular. Only extra tidbit is that Martha said to check her website Friday for more updates, including going away party pictures.

Martha's request was completely reasonable.

As one of MB's biggest fans, I'm appalled at the events that have happened. Seeing her leave the show will be the end for me. I can't imagine the emotional toll her departure had on Martha and all of her close co-workers.

I also think that the moderator at the chats should be more selective of questions chosen. Some crazy idiot that was pro-Jon/anti-Lilden/Byrne kept bugging her.

Ugh. This chat and the details disclosed in it have made me even more agitated at ATWT's status.

They obviously have no clue what they are losing. But when ratings fall, maybe they'll know.
