Passions is ending production this month? I thought they were going till August

I believe the actors are saying that production ends this month, but they've taped enough episodes to air through the summer.

This story with Theres is stupid. The US govt is keeping her dead forever in until they are able to capture Juanita? I dont even get how that is supposed to make sense. They said that Cranes were able to keep the media from knowing she died but then when Theresa talked about going back, they told her she coudlnt bc the media attention of her coming back from the dead would alarm Juanita. Huh? They just contradicted themself

Another thing about Juanita, the leverage that Gwen has is that if she's exposed she'll contact her and tell her where Pilar lives BUT Juanita took Theresa's phone away and called Pilar in Harmony! She could easily do a check to see where that call was placed. Not to mention she took Pilar's passport when she kidnapped her. And even if she didnt have any of that, how hard is it to track Pilar down? They say that Juanita doesnt know her last name, but Pilar never changed it; just added a hyphen to it. Pilar Lopez, Lopez-Fitzgerald with 2 sons and 2 daughters, one being Theresa. Any amateur private investigator could track her down. Theresa spilled about her entire history with Ethan and the Cranes. Juanita has more than enough info to go on.

I really cant believe people watch this show for anything other than some comedic value, it really has descended into a parody of soaps...and not even the type of witty, self conscious satire that Sunset Beach provided...it's almost like JER is totally mocking the very genre that pays his bills. I pray to god he doesnt get work on another soap ever, ever again.

Also, the talents of Lindsay Hartley, Andrea Evans, Liza Huber and EVEN Eric Martsolf are wasted on this crap.

It takes us back to PSNS' first year when Theresa disguised herself as maid to be closer to Ethan.

I'm loving the show again. It's getting better. It is obvious JER wanted to do something different with Passions. He wanted to take Passions where no soap have ever been to. JER doesn't give a crap what others think of him. He's a cancer, he doesn't care.

Me too! This past week has been hilarious! Ivy/Rebecca laughing and making fun of "Gertrude"..... I'm already loving this Nanny/Ugly Betty storyline. It's so 1999!

And in the previews, drunken Eve says, "I'm gonna do my best to re-attach Julian and his penis." HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Then there's Vincent: "You have to do it, mommy....this is a crime against humanity. You can't let Julian live the rest of his life without little Julian.....(he grabs the phone)....She'll do it..... We'll be right there.....Just keep Julian's tally whacker on ice."

This show has the best comedy. I love JER's humour!!
