January 26, 200817 yr Member Heather Lindell and the actress who played Maddie on ATWT would be 2 of my top choices. Of course if AMC could get them Lindsay Hartley or that girl from Party Of five would rock in the role!
January 26, 200817 yr Member Compared to other soaps, AMC would rarely recast a prominent role, at least not immidiately. Doesn't seem to be the case anymore. Unless the actor leaves so abruptly you can't write them out, I think if a recast is ever to happen, there has to be a good deal of time between the former and the new. Lish would have never survived if she came in right after SMG. Just my opinion but even 7 years later it took me a long while to accept her as "Kendall". Now she IS Kendall to me.
January 26, 200817 yr Member Here's a thought: if Bianca returns, w/ or w/o Eden Riegel, what if La Lucci's real-life daughter, Liza Huber, were to accompany her as a post-op Zoe? (Yes, I'm joking. Do you really think I'd suggest something that lame?)
January 26, 200817 yr Author Member Don't know about that, but I would love to see Liza Huber as Maggie
January 26, 200817 yr Member Eden is Bianca, I can't see anyone else playing her. A recast would flop badly IMO
January 26, 200817 yr Member Eden is Bianca, I can't see anyone else playing her. A recast would flop badly IMO Yep. Very rarely do recasts of signature roles work, well.
January 26, 200817 yr Member Especially a role where an actor/actress has left such a mark on the character.
January 26, 200817 yr Member If they bring Bianca back, then do not make her the new Dr. Phil and spread her words of advice and make it all better by sprinkling her pixie dust....or like the Mary Poppins of Pine Valley ("Just a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down...." I can totally see Bianca flying in on her umbrella sliding down the banister to sing this) Give her a story Edited January 26, 200817 yr by DevotedToAMC

Especially a role where an actor/actress has left such a mark on the character. Oh, I get it. We're supposed to pretend Alicia Minshew's the one-and-only Kendall, and Sarah Michelle Gellar just never happened. Right? Is that it? My head hurts. Edited January 26, 200817 yr by Khan
January 26, 200817 yr Member I really want Eden to return, but she needs to make up her mind. I would not tolerate a recast of Bianca at all, Eden is Bianca and no one else will ever be. Bianca finds out that Erica is getting involved with the new Senator to be, who also happens to be hostile to gays and lesbians I like the sound of that.
January 26, 200817 yr Member Khan, no one said that, but Lish's Kendall is way more popular than Sarah's ever was. Lish IS Kendall, she's made the role her own, as has Eden with Bianca
January 26, 200817 yr Member Lish IS Kendall, she's made the role her own. Oh, that smarts. I mean, I didn't want the girl around in the first place; but to say SMG wasn't the definitive Kendall.... You might as well gut me with Lee Hawkins' infected tattoo needle.

You might as well gut me with Lee Hawkins' infected tattoo needle. But Khan, Alicia Minshew is THE DEFINITIVE Kendall. Sarah Michelle Gellar was TOO YOUNG for the part back when she played it. She reminded me of a little girl playing dress up. lol. She was good in the role, but Alicia kicks Sarah Michelle's butt.
