Amanda Baker is about as dull as dishwater

I will miss Jacob Young (but yes, he needs to cut his hair, lol) on AMC, but I assume JR would have to be recasted.

I heard a rumor about "another real one" coming back and I automatically thought it was Alexa. I sure hope so. Amanda is awful as Babe (and she wasn't half bad as Jolene on Night shift either.). The character is so pointless.

AB can read her lines and hit her marks fine - but she cant act. she cant emote emotion and make you feel anything.

The entire point for me is that she is nothing like Babe at all. She looks nothing like Bobbie or Vincent. Which completely underminds her origin, had someone not watched the "transformation" from Havins to Baker one would think that she is one of Jack or Adams wayward spawns. She looks exactly like Colby, nothing like her mother or father. Atleast Alexa looked like she could come from Bobbie and Vincent. Although looks aren't everything it is pivitol that there is atleast some relation for the audience to connect to.

Moving on from that. Baker doesn't give anything back at all when she is in a scene. Hell she most of the time just lets her opposite do the heavy lifting and doesn't bother to help at ALL. She just looks and runs lines. It also doesn't help that she has no chemistry with any of the people she is supposed to. Babe and Bianca had enough chemistry to sire a subset of fans that wished for a pairing. Did we get any of that with Baker? Eden can only do so much with what she is given. I don't expect her to perform miracles.

It's as if nothing in the world affects her in the slightest bit. She needs to hold up cue cards or something so the audience can atleast guess at what she is trying to put out there.

Word. Say what every you will about Havins but she was ridiculously good at her craft and was exceptional in the role. Hence her emmy nomination. She was an awesome Babe and honestly the role is nothing without her. She should have just left to go off with Di and work in New York City.

If "Real Babe" returns it can't be long before "Real Jamie" comes too. Especially if they're without JR, they need the Tad son.

Why do I get the feeling, though, that 1) he won't be coming back, and 2) if the news about AH is true, we'll find out sooner or later that she and Justin Bruening have split up?

Re: Jacob Young - Wouldn't be surprised if he did leave...and wouldn't shed any tears over it, either. To me, he isn't the "definitive" JR.

Well, aside from the part about bringing CS front-and-center, word, knowjack.

If were talking about actresses. I would much rather see Alexa Havins then the other two. However if I have to chose between Chrishell or Baker, I whole heartily chose the first.

If Jacob leaves, it will be my last day watching AMC! To me, Jacob IS the definitive JR! I'll be really Sad & be shedding lots of tears! I'll MISS Jacob alot!

If Bianca returns permanently, I want them to give her a storyline. None of this return just to be little miss pixie spreading her words of wisdom and making it all better with a sprinkle of her pixie dust
