Didnt they get a divorce around the time she left the show in 2005? She was on Chelsea Lately last week and said that she got a divorce 5 years ago and talked about how it was hard for her to try and meet men for 5 years. Going by that, it would mean she got a divorce in 2003. Were they secretly divorced before they offiically said something in 2005?

She seems happy and is dating an ex pro-football player. Glad to see her successful with CSI Miami. She and Chelsea were hilarious together and seemed to have fun together. She also said she'd love to be on DWTS, if they'd let her but she doesnt know if she'd qualify bc she did some dancing when she was a kid. She said she watched Cameron and was pulling for him

I miss Eva LaRue. I didn't know that they started the process in 2003 - I thought is was more like late 2004.

Well, they separated in the fall of 2003. They kept it under wraps and didn't formally announce it until summer of 2004.

Their separation so showed too. Eva and John's chemistry basically went down the tubes... and it ultimately led to both John's firing and Eva giving up on AMC forever.

I'd at least give them kudos for coming to work, toughing it out, and doing scenes w/ each other. From what I heard, it wasn't exactly the friendliest of divorces.

I definitely agree with that. They were professionals. I did however always hear rumors towards the end basically it was John Callahan vs. the entire cast. I heard he didn't have very many friends left at that show when he was axed.
