Barack Obama Elected President!

Hillary please just get the concession speech out of the way. I am hearing she won't be doing that just yet....

Dream ticket? Possible.... I am just not quite sold on that yet.

I still love and support Hillary Clinton. I truly think she would have been a great president, however it became quite clear to me sometime ago the Obama Movement was inevitable and impossible to stop. Hillary knew that, but had one hell of a time accepting it.

This is something for the history books people. I can just see 50 years from now our grand kids asking us about it. That is my hope. I really feel this looming presidency will define the world for the next 50 years.

BC is clearly unwell and before Obama even considered making Hillary his runningmate she would have to agree to leave Bill at home along with most of the peeps who helped her with this race.

I think Obama should offer Hillary the highcourt (Something she's interested in) and make Bill Richardson his VP.

He's went nuts, huh?

Love ya, South!

Congratulations to Sen. Barack Obama. I am hoping that Hillary Clinton will be the VP nominee for Obama and I think she may very well be. If she is, then the Democrat ticket is very unbeatable imho. (And as promised now that Barack Obama is the nominee, I've changed my banner.

I don't think she necessarily needs to concede tonight, she should mention that obama has the numbers for the nom, but I think she should wait until whatever deal her and obama have in place comes out and then she should concede and unite the party together with obama by her side.imo

I do wonder if they have already worked out an Obama-Clinton ticket. It just seems that is where all the signs are pointing.

I don't think that at all. I don't think it's impossible but I do think it's improbable.

I don't think this is the strongest ticket with which the Democrats can come up.

She doesn't have to concede tonight, but I feel she should give him alot of credit for running one hell of a race. She should put alot of that garbage to the side and show that she is about the country and the party.

Anything else will get some major mess started.

Is Bill Richardson the front runner?

I don't know.....

McCain will definitely be watching this closely. I can still see him picking a Condi Ricie. Dear lord

Wales cmon now. They both attract all the groups necessary to win. A lot of people have predicted that this ticket (Hillary/Obama or Obama/Hillary) would be unstoppable ;)

Not dear lord...more like DO IT! :)

If he picks Condoleezza Rice, he will lose in a landslide

I just think the deal has already been worked out for a couple of months....and Obama knows millions want a Hillarack ticket

I don't think so either. I guess we'll have to wait and see how she handles this.

But this is what I want people to see........there is a Obama/Whoever ticket. He leads it now. She has to do what he says do. If she puts ego over all of that, and can't work together.....

Then yes. She should not be on the ticket, for that reason and alot more.

That is what it seems to be pointing to as well, Jess. She said she is fine with the VP slot and he said they will work together to win in November. Something tells me the writing is on the wall that we are getting our dream ticket.

I don't think she would have answered like that if there were not some serious talks going on. She would have said, let's cross bridge later. And I agree with you, Hillary would be a fine leader. She has been a consistent voice for women and underprivileged people.

That one thing about this election, all three of them are decent people and would make good leaders. I just don't agree at all with McCain. It's so bad that all politics turns so personal.

I also think that no deal has been worked. No how, no way.

Too much mess between the campaigns for them to sit down.

And........Obama supporters are the ones who also need to warm up to her. For his supporters to constantly hear that he needs her more than she needs him........garbage.

He may need her to win.....

But she needs him for her political future.

About time for folks to realize that he is the one going forth.

I'm not sure about Bill Richardson.

I don't see Condoleeza Rice being on a ticket with McCain. I missed his grand speech and MSNBC cut it to report on Obama.
