idk why the stylist does what they do to FF hair. If you ever meet her in person, her hair is normal. Well all 10 or so times i ahve met her over the past 5 or so years it has been.

But FF has been great on one life. same with austin peck on atwt, kl on b&B, and kirsten on GH. none were great on Days but all rock on there new soaps. odd.

Wow! What a great time to be an OLTL fan! This show is on a roll, and yesterday was one of the best episodes I have seen in a while. I truly enjoyed Blair, Dorian, and Addie in the background at Linday's trial!

The Vega boys are definitely hot.

I am loving Farrah Fath!

I think its because overtime, they or their characters did not fit in there. Kirsten played Belle but wasn't as good as she is now back then, but all the others I think their characters just didn't fit, yet now their new characters on other soaps fit much better, especially Gigi. She works so well, and I was LOVING her yesterday.

I can't wait for today...things are gonna heat up big time! :D

Another great show, I thought.

Although I cannot believe that everyone left Michael there, laying on the ground. That was just so cold. LOL

Loved the conversation between Viki/Charlie, didn't really expect to get one so soon, and I actually don't mind Dorian in this story IF they keep her like they have her now. This is the Dorian I have loved to watch over the years, not DH's creation. Poor Charlie is going to learn the hard way not to trust her, but then it will make for a better Viki/Charlie reunion.

Ramsey is so cartoonish, all he does is make me laugh.

I am SO glad that this Marcie on the run storyline is about to come to an end, it's been going on way too long, I just don't like that it is going to take Viki away from a place that makes her happy. I have never known a child that age to stay that calm and quiet throughout all of this, wonder if he'll be scarred once all is said and done.

It's nice to have great cliffhangers back on Friday, now I cannot wait for the show Monday.

I am so thrilled that Erika Slezak has a big storyline, but today's scenes in the diner when she debated whether to call Todd are a perfect reminder of what a great actress she is: even when Viki's not the center of the action, ES offers perfect support. Love her.

I loved seeing RJ yesterday; forgot to mention that.

Nash is so hot going up against Jared, it just makes me tingle in all sorts of places.

I'm really enjoying oltl me and my 10/15 year old sisters watch oltl and they watch for everyone not just the younger set.

This show has balance and not one person is on too much, can those writers come to amc please???? I really like Gigi also, isn't this the same actress that was hated on days???

Farah Fath was actually loved on DOOL but many hated the character once she dated Shawn. Anyways, don't really want to get all into that but yes same actress. I am glad the you are enjoying the show, especially for your age group, I agree there is something for everyone these days.

LOL so I am not the only one thinking, what the hell are they doing to Farah's hair??! I already wrote in with a complaint about that. Seriously.

As for the actors being better on the current soap, I think it has to do with writing. In my opinion, OLTL, GH, and ATWT is allowing FF, KS, and AP to spread their wings and they are given better material than they ever had on DOOL.

Friday's show was good but what was up with Michael being left on the ground? That seemed odd to me.

Also where did Ramsey go? Unless he is going to go back up and harass Gigi some more or maybe gigi will see Michael down below injured and go help?

I did like Viki being conlficted as whether she should call Todd or not. I thought it was great she called Charlie first, because she knows the truth as to who she really is will come all out and he might be hurt.

    • The link doesn't work.  The actual link is this: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/composer-leonard-bernstein-s-children-request-his-music-be-played-in-the-kennedy-center-in-rebuke-to-trump/ar-AA1E7gw5 That's a reprint of a FoxNews article. MSN reprints stuff from many sources. You can tell the source from the logo above the headline on the msn page. The FoxNews article is describing what Leonard Bernstein's children wrote -- as a "letter to the editor" of the New York Times. Instead of reading it filtered through FoxNews, here is the original: "Our Dad, Leonard Bernstein, Would Want His Music Played at the Kennedy Center" https://www.nytimes.com/2025/05/02/opinion/kennedy-center-leonard-bernstein-protest.html Non-paywall archivedcopy of the same NYTimes letter, without commentary: https://archive.is/QaLqD
    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
    • ah thanks! do you know who the third one was in the blonde? the fifth one i know ive seen before in the brown wig but i forgot, and then ive never seen the psychic one before lol
    • I felt for Ted early on but as the story unfolded it has changed my opinion on him. To know he was cheating while his wife was struggling to give him a baby is a lot to deal with. Plus, this happened ages ago and still he's paying Leslie off and threatening her to leave town.  What really caused me to lose him in this episode was how even though he was busted, he still refused to take responsibility and come clean and the way he talked to Martin and Eva was terrible. To tell Smitty he better get Martin away from him when that is his SON who he used to cover up his affair? That is true dog behavior. Ted seems upset he got caught but I'm not seeing the remorse I would need to want Nicole to forgive him. I'm curious how I'll feel after Ted gets to talk to Nicole but I need him to fix it with the rest of the family as well.
    • I'm sorry. I well remember Jake doing Doris but I have no independent memory of the story around it.  Krystle with a K Lake, sure, both Tony the Tuna stories & NOT.  And, Jake also impersonated a woman named Bunny Eberhardt but he didn't know she was a woman so there was no drag. This weekend I re-watched Kevin & Mac, GH, and my strong impression is exactly what it was when I watched it in real time: They did not let them look very pretty. Of course, I think the best ever drag on GH was Alexis posing as the Q butler.  In a different use of drag at AW one Halloween, Jensen Buchanan went as Charlie Chaplin & Judi Evans went as, I think, a male gypsy.
