No one watched?! lol

I thought today's show was good.

I never really liked Todd and Blair's relationship in the past but today with them kissing, then holding each other 1 mintue w/o talking, Then Todd puts his jacket around Blair and they walk inside holding hands. PERFECT!

Dorian and David's talk was again perfect! David turning Dorian down! Todd, Langston, Blair walking in on them kissing! Langston, Blair teasing Dorian about kissing David was also cute. David scratched off the lotto ticket!

I thought Gigi's pulling out the fake TX accent and disguising herself as Sally Anne was funny, especially since Micheal bought it! Poor Mikey gets arrested tomorrow.

I was surprised to hear Mitch Laurence name pop up during Rex and Roxy's talk! Possible return???

I even liked John looking for Miles, loved his line about jumping in the river, "if I go in there to get you, you better not be dead!" lol

The only scenes that bothered me was Cole, with a better actor it would have been good.

I thought it was a blah day...

Although I did like Todd and Blair, and I haven't been liking those two together in a long while, but today was very sweet and quite romantic for those two. LOL.

I felt so bad for Michael, I wanted him to at least have been able to see Tommy before he gets arrested, but I guess that won't happen.

Enjoyed the scenes between Roxy and Rex and I LOVED that mention of Mitch (I loved that man!!)

Is it too much to ask for some follow up with Viki, Jessica and Natalie?

I actually liked most of the show today, I liked the Todd and Blair scenes,

David and Dorian were great as always

I loved when Langston said she had already seen Dorian making out with two guys and Blair told her to get used to it lol

David and Todd were so much fun, I just wish they had more scenes together.

I always like Rex and Roxie scenes but i am not happy to see Miles hook up with Roxie, it just isn't what I want for him. but JPL and IK alway make me believe they are mother and son

I liked the Michael and Gigi scenes and how Gigi caught on to how upset Mike was and gave Marcie a chance to hear how he really feels, Marcie was making me so sad for her, seeing her cry and touch the door when Mike was talking and then going to open the door,, only to have the cops come in. I was actually yelling lol

I could have done without the Cole and Starr scenes, I just didn't feel them but I understand they were needed for the storyline, and I hated John when he was doing CPR on Miles, saying he wasn't going to let Miles ruin Cole's life by dying..Um WTF?? John, Miles didn't charge at Cole or provoke him into being shot, he was innocent. John is an idiot these days.

as much as I would have liked to see Viki with Nat and Jess I sure as heck am glad I was spared any more Marty mourning from them today, it was enough on Friday.

Just getting back into OLTL after a long hiatus, hearing of its new rejevination had me interested. I've always loved T&B but they were very good today, D&D were at their comedic best and I agree about Brandon Buddy... it's just not there, acting wise, and since they're giving him these scenes, they're just letting him fall on his face.

It's good to be back in Llanview.

Monday was great!!!

I absloutely loved Todd and Blair. I loved how Blair wanted to wait to hear what Todd had to say. I loved the minute of silence and the handholding. I loved Todd complaining about Dorian and wanting to move back to the Penthouse. I love that Todd and Blair can be sweet without being corny!!!

David makes the sun shine. I love Dorian and David!!!! I already miss David.

BB was pretty good when he was threatening to shoot Lee, but when he crawled in Starr's room, he just plain sucked!!! I was rooting for Starr to turn him in just to put me out of my misery!!!

David and Todd is always a treat.

Roxy and Rex was ok.

Loving OLTL again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Might be a long shot, because I can't find a thing online about it, but I was Googling the actress that played Nell Cleary (Frank's cop friend that went through academy and then became cops together during the entire Brent Lawrence storyline). To my surprise, she passed away in 2011, at the very young age of 45. I can't find her obituary or anything online about her passing, but I'm curious, does anyone know what happened? Her IMDB only shows a few other acting gigs post-Guiding Light, so she didn't make a career out of it, but I thought she was a great actress in her role as Cleary. Her name was Mary Peterson.
    • What was Ruth Martin's association to the Thornton family?  I only remember the daughter that dated Tad, and she had a buxom mother.  But, did Ruth date David Thorton before Joe?

Why didn't Steve respect Monica and Jeff's decision?  I get he's Jeff's father, and that's how it came out, but I don't like the ethics of the story. A stranger gets to make life or death decisions over a wife's demands?   I hope Monica secretly never forgave Steve's chauvinism.
    • Question: Jon-Michael Reed's review of 1977 is up in the retro soap section.  It includes a fleeting reference to comedic scenes between Jeanne Cooper and Julianna McCarthy regarding “Kay's would-be beau, Ralph the Plumber”.  Could someone please fill me in will more details? I forgot that Kay and Liz were friendly before Jill stole Kay's husband.  And the thought of Liz playing a comedic scene blows my mind, because I only recall her being dour both in demeanor and wardrobe.
    • I said this on Twitter on Friday when Leslie mentioned Chicago, so perhaps she might be related to one of Anita's bandmates. In addition, Leslie did say she grew up listening to The Articulettes too.
    • There was a scene in the past week or two with Leslie looking at some papers and mementos, which included an invitation or souvenir from Alan's memorial service or funeral -- it was dated as November 2024. Me just guessing but it seems to me that Martin's nightmares about the accident are from something longer ago than November.
    • ah thanks! do you know who the third one was in the blonde? the fifth one i know ive seen before in the brown wig but i forgot, and then ive never seen the psychic one before lol
    • I felt for Ted early on but as the story unfolded it has changed my opinion on him. To know he was cheating while his wife was struggling to give him a baby is a lot to deal with. Plus, this happened ages ago and still he's paying Leslie off and threatening her to leave town.  What really caused me to lose him in this episode was how even though he was busted, he still refused to take responsibility and come clean and the way he talked to Martin and Eva was terrible. To tell Smitty he better get Martin away from him when that is his SON who he used to cover up his affair? That is true dog behavior. Ted seems upset he got caught but I'm not seeing the remorse I would need to want Nicole to forgive him. I'm curious how I'll feel after Ted gets to talk to Nicole but I need him to fix it with the rest of the family as well.
    • I'm sorry. I well remember Jake doing Doris but I have no independent memory of the story around it.  Krystle with a K Lake, sure, both Tony the Tuna stories & NOT.  And, Jake also impersonated a woman named Bunny Eberhardt but he didn't know she was a woman so there was no drag. This weekend I re-watched Kevin & Mac, GH, and my strong impression is exactly what it was when I watched it in real time: They did not let them look very pretty. Of course, I think the best ever drag on GH was Alexis posing as the Q butler.  In a different use of drag at AW one Halloween, Jensen Buchanan went as Charlie Chaplin & Judi Evans went as, I think, a male gypsy.

    • I'm not sure who wanted them to dump REUNION & instead do a "Dallas-like daytime show" but it seems that it def came from NBC to AW through Rauch, so, yes, it absolutely could have been his (cough-another-stupid?) decision!!!! I've just begun the new Lisanti book so maybe I will find out. (I waited for the kindle version to come out.) I would apologize for being so critical & so sarcastic, too, but, well, I'm not actually sorry!  Silverman was NOT a friend to AW.  And, I believe the critique is on point & deserved! I wanted to explain why I think the timing is off for the 90 minute show to be a reaction to the GH Luke & Laura story & its hype. Because, for sure, networks & production companies did react to it! The first 90 minute show was Monday, March 5, 1979.  And, there was some unknown amount of time ahead of that with people arguing about it & then, planning it.  The Luke & Laura wedding was mid-November 1981.  They were on the run from Frank Smith & stayed overnight in Wyndham's Dept. Store early August 1980.
