I'm sure the vets contracts are next to nothing in appearances. There's no way they're paying them for not working.

They may not have as many guarantees, and they may not make as much money as they used to, but what's the point of being beholden to a show that barely uses you when recurring actors get MORE airtime AND the freedom of a flexible schedule?

Today's show was just sort of so so. I can't really say any show with the quad from hell is on is great so that took points off right for the get go. I agree about the lack of vets today it was nice seeing Emma, but I was liking seeing more than must one vet per day. As for Carly and crew, I am so getting sick of all this already, like PJ sort has said this is getting to be to many plot stunts with Carly and the kids, and Jack. I frankly hope that Metro is going to be a real thing and not just a plot device of some sort that never even shows up. Carly needs some new stuff to do, and I like this thing with Kit. Plus having Metro back opens up alot of storylines for others IMO as well.

Tip to ATWT TPTB, never only have two quads as your only storylines for the day.

As for why the vets stay...there must be some advantage for them. Not everyone is Larry Bryggman, and tell TIIC to go fluck themselves.

I'd almost give a limb to see Frannie or Sabrina again, but I'd want them to be as old as they should, and that means (gasp) middle aged. Being that Kelley Menighan Hensley is the only 40+ woman with prominent stories, I'm not hopeful.
