Oh God I'm dreading watching those scenes...the goodbye scenes between Emily and Elizabeth were tough enough to endure.

I just have to pray that Emily isn't really "dead".

And of course GH being a soap and all its very possible that shes still alive. Much wierder things have happened after all.

Loving this week. I think it will maintain the high ratings from the previous week.

And GH isn't dead creatively at all if you ask me. It just keeps getting better and better.

My heart broke for Nikolas and Elizabeth today. Nikolas was just in a state of shock and thought she was coming back to him. The previews looked even sadder with him holding a gun to his chest and crying. Elizabeth breaking down at the end and sobbing was just...it had me in tears. I could just feel her pain. And I was pleasently surprised by SB's performance. You could tell that Jason was dying on the inside but he was trying his hardest to keep it together.

GH was opnce again great today. The scenes with Sonny & Kate were good. I am loving Sonny seeing himself turning into crazyZ. and now crazy has Kate. Megan Ward should be so much un to watch in these scenes. So.. Jerry & Carly... intersting. i think they are going there. and i dont think i like it. i wish they would show georgie, maxie, coop, and evberyone else stashed away not in the barn or lukes room. but i guess the smart people dont get to be showen. tho i do love the scenes with scotty/luke/tracy. kinda odd no patrick/robin/leyla scenes. but im so over them i couldnt care less at this point.

now onto the big stuff... finnaly, we see emily is the one to die. however, who kills her is still the question. obviously, Nick is way to obvious as is crazyZ... i did love it when Jason walked in and saw em there. Carly being with him was great, as i love the friendship they have. also loved carly/nick scenes - for some reason, i have always thought they could work somehow. and then when Jason got Elizabeth.. and they came back... and that moment with nick/liz over deadEm was really good and heartbreaking. it woulda been better i Lucky was there but then mcwhore woulda had been there screaming like a hijena about how she cant have childern and liz is evil... so im kinda glad he wasnt. and then the scene with liz holding em and sobbing over he dead body as jason looked on was just heartbreaking.

cant wait to see more of this ball and see everything play out.

OMG

And the award for BEST CLIFFHANGER for the current week goes to General Hospital.

Seriously I don't even know where to begin.

But first I have got to say...YES CARLY IS BEING STRANGLED!

On a more sad note it looks like Sonny and or Kate may die. And its not looking good for Liason as well. I think the whole "Would You Die For Love" theme really came full circle today. I know the trailers made it seem so chessy and kinda confused the hell out of me but now its all making sense.

I wonder if Nikolas is going to go thru with it....to anyone's knowledge has suicide been a major storyline on ANY soap? I know that people have attempted it but to my knowledge no character has actually gone thru with it.

Umm yeah Coop is looking more and more sinister everytime I see him onscreen. I could have sworn it was him choking the life out of Carly at the end there. The funny part was that I was cheering him on...

Anyways this week was awesome. GH should definitely maintain its ratings or even go higher this time next week.

todays episode was amazing.

the sonny & kate scenes were great. i loved it - even tho im sure nither will die. when sonny fell, kates reaction was heartbreaking. and then when she was shot. OMG. the fashion world would be buzzin with gossip IRL... also loved kate asking sonny how many he had been shot then before he could answer she says nevermind, i dont wanna know!

i loved lulu with nick and liz taking her aside.

jason, wtf? u think nick killed em and ur gonna leave liz there with him, alone, oh and psycho kilelr on the lose! whatev.. i also loved jason begging carly to go to jax because he needed to know she would be safe. the jason/carly friendship is always great to see and SB & LW pull it off so well, esp with the looks they give eachother.

its about time we saw maxie georgie and coop. i didnt like logan telling tracy em was killed - i it had to be anyone but liz to break the news to a Q i feel it should have at least been Lulu. and again, i hate that luckys not here for all this, but id rather have no lucky than lucky and his screaming mcwhore

so... they showed what we all knew all along - there are two killers, crazyZ... and a strangler. so i gues its safe to assume this strangler person killed michael and morgans mother - er nanny.. emily. just tried to kill carly... i wonder who it is....

and those last scenes with jason and liz. when jason got up there and he and liz looked at eachother... i am so happy i have gotten great liason stuff after waiting for 8 years. but i feel it should have ended with them jumping.

I noticed when I was reading recaps to decide whether I would watch, that a few people seemed to have a problem with his leaving her there. In order for me to find a problem with it, I'd have to believe the writing is that consistent and logical and I don't. Outside of that, that horse tranquilizer seems to have stopped Nikolas' rages and too bad it didn't knock him out. What worked on Thursday for me didn't on Friday.

It's stupid that Elizabeth is the only one that has physical contact with Nikolas. I don't even think Lulu tried to put a hand on Nikolas's shoulder and I think that if they wanted to denonstrate her love or concern for Nikolas they should have had her go and at least hug him. Three straigtht days of Nikolas over Emily's body isn't going to make me fall in love with them though it might do it for someone else. I mustered up about as much empathy for him and his never gonna love anyone else blubbering as I will on Thursday. I might have felt something had I ever looked at them and saw anything at all beyond the words.

I don't care if Lucky is a package deal, he should have made his way out of whereever he is to find out. That would have been much better than trying to make me buy that Coop knew that the barn is the safest place for Georgie and Maxie to be. I guess none of the other guests need to be as safe as the people in the barn.

One of the best things on yesterday's show was the reminder that the PC mob is a big time joke. None of them carry more than one gun (unless Jason produces one from under that jacket he needed). Sonny, though, made me want to laugh. I liked the line about his being a glorified pimp. AZ had the chance and didn't bother to kill him. Sonny could only stand around and issue threats about what his enforcer will do. Johnny might not even turn out to be AZ's son at this rate and I don't think they're even going to kill AZ anymore. They need a way to prolong this joke of a mob story (which is nothing more than Trevor vs Sonny over Kate).

Yesterday they got to use their tagline specifically on Jason and Elizabeth. They waited too long.

i agree about the writing, but still.. and this time he didnt even leave her with a gun!

I simi agree with you. Liz has been the only oen to touch nick and i do think Lulu should have hugged him and had all that good bro/sis stuff. But at the same time aside from Lucky and Liz i dont reallt want anyone involved in this at this point. Its alkways been the four of them - and now one of them is gone. as for Lucky, i stand by that if mcwhore has to come with him i dont want him there. Her screaming like a banji would take away from the scene - however they have had Jason just kidna sit back and be there for Liz and that works, but i dont eel the same would be done for her being there.

i agree and disagree. Yes they did get to use the tagline with both Liason and Skate, however i dont think it too long. But then again i like long storylines and like to wait for such things.

Maybe he was hoping that Nickolas would strangle her. I don't think any of them make much sense. Jax wanted Carly to get killed too because he said he couldn't leave Jerry and sent her off to get a glass of water. Jason wanted her to be safe but he didn't exactly walk her to a safe place. They're all over the map because one instant they are worried about safety and the next they are wandering around as if all is well.

The four of them is another one of those things that vanished for me with all the different cast changes. The dynamics changed too much to capture the same feeling and they were off in different directions at too many points to retain any of it. I guess the most constant two have probably been Elizabeth and Nikolas because they were never romantically enough despite his crush on her. Anyway, I don't see why their "closeness" should limit who is in on the grieving process.

On Thursday it was fine but if Sonny can come through and have his say then yesterday they should have had Lucky find out. Sam is Nikolas' cousin and that's a chance to have her be a source of support for him. Robin might even have been able to do something for him as well.

When I said they waited too long I didn't mean they waited too long for Jason and Elizabeth to get together. I don't mean to attach a deadline to them because they can take as long as they want as long as they tell a plausible story. I mean they took too long for me to put that tagline into effect. Leyla putting herself in front of Patrick doesn't even count to me. I don't even think Sonny and Kate epitomized the tagline either because she got to run out of the room and her life wasn't on the line when he got shot. Unless I missed something, AZ didn't even make reference to love in any of the three choice situations but the last one. Emily ended up dead but not for love. The ball was supposed to be for her and look how that worked out.

I think BF delights in playing games with the fans' heads. In his little preview he tried to give the impression that anything could happen with the four parties when it was already known at that time that the hot tub scenes were coming right up. The promos keep the people at whom they were aimed hanging on and tuning in while searching for a sign (and some people think every little thing is a sign). There was speculation beforehand that there was some great meaning behind it when it's all about stringing them along. I don't think they even showed any of those on ABC. The promo that did make it was the ball specific ones one of which said a love story begins in reference to J&E. Lucky and Elizabeth's dance was crumb one and Jason and Sam's gun toting was crumb two. At the end of it all the wedge was greater than at the start.

I can understand people not liking a couple but I can't even begin to tap into the kind of hatred that some people seem to wallow in. Even when I preferred the less popular Jax/Brenda pairing over Sonny/Brenda and Sonny was always winning, I didn't develop any kind of hatred for them. I never cared for Sonny's arrogance but then I don't care for arrogance so naturally that will never be an appealing characteristic to me. I can't see myself griping about that every single day unless it's all in fun.

I haven't watched this week yet, but WHY do they keep teasing me with Carly's dead and then have her survive? It's cruel to tease me "We're gonna make you happy little Norwegian GH viewer, we're gonna BANG!DEAD!KILL!STRANGLE!SHOOT!DEAD Carly, but oh - what's that? Carly will survive, sorry not your week this week."

    • Same here.  Anyone who voluntarily left Margo's penthouse set (except to go overseas or to Heaven) was immediately on my blacklist.  lol.

    • The penthouse was my favorite set... and it changed hands from Margo to Draper/April to Miles/Nicole then to just Miles... before he opted to give that beautiful place for that drab house with the even more drab Beth.  That was a jump the shark moment for me LOL
    • The storyline April and Draper are involved in during the summer/autumn of 1979 seems fairly "benign" but soon turns very serious.  April has a VERY intrusive, wealthy mother (Margo Huntington Dorn).  Margo knows that April and Draper (who've recently had a miscarriage and are theoretically never going to be able to conceive another baby) want to buy a house.  Margo hoodwinks them into buying a house they can't afford.  The house is listed at $100,000 (about $400,000 in today's dollars).  Margo pays the first $35,000 and leads Draper to believe the asking price of the house is $65,000 instead of $100,000.  If Draper finds out his meddling mother-in-law paid 1/3 of the cost of the home and tricked him, he'll be mad as hell.   Meanwhile, Draper has received a job offer from a prestigious New York law firm.  Margo pulls some strings and has the senior partner in the firm rescind the offer, to keep April in Monticello.  If Draper finds out about THAT, he'll be even angrier with Margo than he will be about the house trickery.  All of that is "bubbling under the surface" in the fall of 1979 but will be the next major story, as everything begins to spiral out of control.   Yep, you've got the Karrs and their very basic middle-class house, the Victorian-themed place where Miles and Nicole live, April and Draper's old craftsman house with the exposed beams, the Madisons & their Mission revival house, and Margo with her 1970s-chic penthouse.  Each of the sets is completely different.  And their budget was like zero, lol.
    • It felt weird and out of place.  I get it. While I agree with those on here that say he's gotten better, it's still really bad. I'm not seeing the "good" acting some see...but I'll give him a B for being better than when he first started. There's potential. I'll leave it at that.
    • It's like watching paint dry at a slow-ass pace. It's bad acting. Entirely. Excellent? With Claybon? Never. Ever.
