Being in New York, I do occasionally see an actor here or there on the street, but I never have the guts to say anything. That's mostly because they're not from my shows, so it's not very important to me. In the past I've met:

I used to spot Paul Leyden from ATWT on a regular basis. I think I worked right next to where he lived at the time. I was always too nervous to speak to him!

I spotted Michael Easton from OLTL while shopping earlier in the year, when I also saw Robin Strasser on different occasions. I probably wind up in her neighborhood in my local travels. Tuc Watkins on the subway too. I tried to wait on line for tickets to The View last year, and Bobbie Eakes from AMC walked out of the studio to the hot dog stand in curlers! That same day, Cameron Mathison walked by, very incognito in sunglasses.

I've met Austin Peck, Christie Clark, Jacob Young and Colin Egglesfield.

I met Austin at a fan event, Christie on the set of SoapTalk (my friend exec produced it), Jacob on a NYC street and Colin at a restaurant that my friend and I were dining at.

I saw Martha Byrne walk into a store I worked at looking for baby products when she was pregnant. I think it was 2001 or 2002. I walked around and looked at her and I was deifnetly sure it was her. I didnt approach her though even though I could have

I know it's not a meeting, but I forgot the time a few years ago when I realized I was walking behind Julianne Moore. She's really tiny.

I have met Linda Dano, Stephen Schnetezer and Brian Gaskill all at store openings.

I also saw Jason Winston George (Micheal, Sunset Beach) at NBC10's Fit Fest but didn't talk to him.

I once flew on the same flight as Frank Runyeon (ex-Steve Andropoulos, ATWT) and his wife. I knew it was him, but I didn't want to do the typical fangurly thing - plus, he might not have been the type to appreciated public attention - so, instead, I managed to get next to him at the baggage carousel, then said, in an almost hushed tone, "Steve Andropoulos, right?"

He nodded his head, then laughed.

It's always been my dream, though, to meet Michael Tylo and Lisa Brown (ex-Quint and Nola, respectively, GL).

I've met Toby Poser (ex-Amanda, GL), Forbes March (Nash, OLTL), Heather Lindell (ex-Jan, Days), Michael Lowry (ex-Jake, AMC), Ilene Kristen (Roxy, OLTL), and a few others I'm blanking on.

The only soap star I've met is Scott Reeves (ex-Ryan, Y&R) at a store opening. This was back in the Nina/Ryan days.
