Go Greenlee! I loved her scene with Zach. She called the bastard out on his crap and I loved every second of it

Is today the firs time Kendall babysat Emma. Who would have thought that would happen last year especially since she couldnt stand the girl. I love Emma and Spike together.

I wish Aidan would have let go and stop hounding Annie. He got abit annoying

I had to roll my eyes at Ryan when he was yelling about them getting that sociopath, Ritchie a lawyer. Um kind of like you did with your sociopath brother?

I dont know what to think of Hannah. Didnt really care for her but if she causes trouble for Zendall then she can stay a while

Uh Cheap, sorry I have to completely disagree. For one Greenlee completely is rewriting her own history, she CAN have kids, she just CANNOT carry them to term, she knew that long before the BO.

She's already said she ONLY wants RYAN's kids, and she had the chance but threw it away, so every word out of her idiot mouth today made me want to bitch slap the whore.

Ugh she had to go and ruin what should be one of the happiest moments of Kendall's life.

FOAD you Greenskank

I doubt SH is on contract, she said she's back for the FALL(that's about a 13 week cycle) she came to NY to audition for primetime, I really doubt she'll stick around

Her point today with Zach is that she knew she screwed up and caused pain just like he has. He didnt leave town. He got to stick around and eventually be forgiven and move past what he did. Why cant she? Thats what she was getting at and called him a hypocrite bc he's done is own sh-t in the past. I like SS's Greenlee like this in bitch mode. The nice redeeming Greenlee doesnt work. It just so happens that Zach was at the end of her bitchiness today and since I dont like him, I didnt mind it.

For the record, IA with Zach in that Greenlee needs to leave Kendall the hell alone and it pisses me off that she wont stay away. I want Kendall to just snap and do something to her. That stabbing fantasy comes to mind. Greenlee snapped (thanks to drugs) and tried to kill Kendall in the past. I want to see Kendall return the favor. I think we can at least agree on that...lol

Princess Lipgloss needs to STFU and FOAD. If motherhood was really something she wanted, she could have made it happen for herself. Hate her woo is me act is getting so so old

Ryan was unfairly rude to the doctor

If Hannah is back in wimpy 'I want a baby' mode she can leave town again, if she is back in 'I want revenge' mode she can stay in town. Want to see a strong Hannah not a wimpy Hannah this time around

Damnit Sin you made me spew water all over my keyboard, that's disturbing, yet funny

Anyways, I'm sick of Greenlee's wah wahing, get the [!@#$%^&*] over it bitch. Ugh. Suddenly were supposed to believe you wanted kids? You sure didn't take long telling Kendall to abort once Ryass returned from the "dead"

Crazy/Beautiful Ryan

What would you know but Ryan has actually met with the professional that he desperately needs to help sort out his woe is me messed up life-a psychologist! Hey I just wonder how many hours he can get St. Ryan on the therapy couch to divulge all of his deep dark secrets about how he used to squeeze his mom's breasts to get that breast milk since he is allergic to nonfat...of course he would think it is called TooFat milk and drinking it would cause him to become fat and lord knows we cannot listen to pontificating and all that other crap if it happens to Ryan. No way no how can it be acceptable to take place. But thankfully that psychologist has been pointing out how it really is Annie's problem that Ritchie landed behind bars for seven years and you know he lost those years all thanks to sissy lying about him. Hey hey now he is out for revenge and might just kill the beloved Ryan all to get back at her. It's not like anyone will miss him counting sheep or telling them how to raise their children or what to eat. Seriously see the benefits of having Ryan dead on a platter and let's have Annie's dream of him flying out the window without his Dynamite Crappo cape on and plunging to the death. Yippee kay yigh yay mutha f*cka as a nod to Bruce Willis, you know, a real man and Ryan is not real but just a fake. But better yet, how come Ryan did not tell the psychologist that he too is like one? I mean he can do just about any job on the planet. They could learn off one another.

AMC is heating up! I got really excited about the last segment in a way I haven't gotten excited about this show in a couple months.

I love Hannah and seeing her turn around in that chair with her huge smile. Haha - that was great. I can't wait to see what's up with her! She should start showing soon if she's really pregnant...its been 4 months. I doubt, and hope, she isn't pregnant.

LOVE Annie's past - the whole Annie/Aiden scenes were great. Very mysterious, and I felt bad for Annie, but I was liking how Aiden kept pushing her too. I also loved the Ryan at jail thing too. Sure, Ryan was annoying and pushy, but did anyone else get this crazy cult vibe from the warden and doctor? They were way too shady and not answering direct questions. Plus they were VERY pro-Ritchie and anti-Annie.

No Ava - that was a plus. Seriously, she deserves to die for going 2 days to pretty much say she'd rather die than have surgery. Blah!

Loved seeing Greenlee with that fire today. Also - is Kendall gonna go crazy? Loved her showing up at Greenlee's place.

    • Sharina?  @alwaysAMC I am glad you've kept writing about the Brent story all the way through. I think that Beaty may have had to briefly leave again, rather than scenes being aired out of sequence, but I'm not sure.  You are right that the reveals of Brent's various reasons for being what he was bog down the end of the story a bit, although based on what is to come in 1996 I still kind of wish Beaty had stayed another year.  I'd forgotten J and Michelle were tied to the end of the story. This J is generally just gross. I don't really remember much of anyone caring about Nadine dying outside of her family. The worst part was Frank just giving a rose and saying it was from Harley, which made me very mad at the time. I am not sure if Beth Ehlers was asked to return and declined. Luckily this is addressed when she does return.   I felt like it was one of those stories that was done via mandate - trying to keep the ratings gains they had, via more location shoots, more adventures, more secrets, etc. Tony, Annabelle and Jim were thrown in as they were meant to be important to the show at the time.
    • April 28: Leslie tells Eva "I know all about the Articulettes. Honey, please. I lost my virginity with Anita playing in the background, baby." Who knows what she meant by that.  I had assumed that it meant that the music was playing on a device in the background, and not live, but who knows. Leslie has spun so many tales.
    • I enjoyed Sally's story from her engagement to Peter all the way through to right before Majorca, so I would have a hard time giving that up for the sake of trying to make Amanda and Sam theoretically better. I thought the escalation of Sally's troubles from Donna's interference, secret love child, engagement to David for the wrong reasons, falling for Catlin, jilting David, trying to take Kevin from David leading to David's murder and Catlin's absolutely stupid confession to take the blame for her, and then Catlin's trial and aftermath all kept the story moving in directions you wouldn't necessarily expect but all made sense.  Full disclosure: I don't really care for location shoots on soaps where most of the time outdoor scenes are clearly in studio. It feels weird to see the cast in natural light under real trees and sometimes the destination doesn't make any sense. And although obviously it was good to get a resolution to the murder mystery and get Catlin off death row (probably too harsh a sentence for the crime), the motive and the criminal were not very satisfying. Even though she had started dating Peter, Emily Benson still had minor character written all over her. But also the transition into a lower key daily life, the introduction of Brittany and the recasting of Sally were all less effective. Catlin was limited to occasional private detection work and being protective of Brittany, but he didn't have much else to do once Blaine and Larry had left. (He should at least have been dealing with raising Kevin but Kevin and Liz had also been written out. He could have interacted with Donna more over Brittany but his fling with Donna was mostly ignored once Sally was gone.)
    • This. I'm also reminded of something from the old Cinema de Merde website, something I've tried to carry with me. "(paraphrased) We will not let our dislike for a movie impede our efforts to engage with it."
    • I just edited a DAYS episode 8-27-90 with Eve, Nick, Julie, John, Izzy, Victor, Bo, Carly, some young guy named Chad, Johnny Corelli, business men/thugs from a movie that is going to be made & from a construction company, little kid friend of ShawnD's, ShawnD although he is at the bottom of a long narrow hole & is either asleep or unconscious. Full closing credits with voiceover: Next on Another World: Vicky, posing as Marley, will she be able to fool Jamie? Then, on Santa Barbara something about Mack & Gretchen, whoever they are.
    • It's a sweet scene. I'm requesting Love of Life, please.
    • Paul, as for me, in general I am VERY interested in reading these. So, from my POV, you could post one every week & I would be all smiles. As for what shows I would be interested in: everything but Valiant Lady, Portia/Life, 5 Daughters, Another Life, that's it.
    • I have read numerous places on line that Leslie/Dana may somehow be connected to one of Anita's old band mates that she obviously has issues with.  They were both from Chicago and Leslie/Dana stated she gave birth to Eva there.  If this is true it could add another dimension to this storyline.
    • Not only that, but Tony, Annabelle, and Jim had zero skin in this game. The Fishing Trip story had a huge impact on the Reardons and Annabelle because it was about THEIR relatives and how what happened to them shaped their own lives. People directly and indirectly affected by this--i.e. Alan, Amanda, Philip, and even Lujack--weren't involved in this at all, either because they were off the canvas or involved in other stuff. I mostly admire Long's talent for using the past to enhance her stories in the present, but this one was a huge turkey. We saw Brandon old and decrepit dying on screen. Even if we were able to suspend disbelief, why wouldn't he have wanted revenge on Lucille, who tried to kill him? If he wanted to go live with his Barbados squeeze, who would have cared about that by then? In the end, it had little to no impact on the larger story because they were too chicken to bring in that branch of the Spauldings into the main story (until later).  Just a really bad storyline that mainly existed to stretch out the GL stints of the actors who played Tony, Annabelle, and Jim.
    • Agree to disagree as to Lois's return. Moving from the specific to the general, IMO, successful: Tracy, Lois, Lulu so far & Lucas so far. Questionable: Lucky. But I do not believe that having a romantic partner at all times is the be all & end all of things.  Reminder about how we got from there to here with Rena: Everything was a part of the great unknown, whether they'd like her or vice versa, so they by intent signed a 30 episode deal. Before they even got to the end of those 30 episodes they knew they really liked each other a lot & so they with mutual satisfaction (we think) agreed upon a handshake open-ended deal, which as far as anyone knows is how it still stands. What is good about that? Neither side has YET wanted it to end. What's bad about that? Maybe it is a little weird.  Now, it seems to me that Lois is not going to have time for anything or anyone at all EXCEPT the fallout over the GIO reveal for the upcoming future days & weeks & I do think she is going to take the brunt of a LOT of people's anger. In a way that has begun this week with Tracy being SO UGLY to her.  About Jason & romance. They're not writing any. If I understand what he's said from that podcast they never had any intention with either Anna or Sasha. Also, if they had wanted to write either of those, he would've been against it, although he realizes it's not up to him. (Finola has expressed same at fan events, etc.) (Others who have similarly stated their "preferences": Sonny does not want to be with Carly. Carly does not want to be with Sonny. So, these preferences Jason, Anna, Sonny, Carly, they all work out & none of them is having the show want those pairings either, so, again, works out.  About these writers & romantic couples, they spent a year blowing up every couple that existed. Now a few months has gone by & they have YET to create even one new couple. The only thing that has come close is Lucky & Liz.
