Members Y&RWorldTurner
In your opinion, what is the most improved soap right now? I personally have to go with OLTL. I can't believe how fast things have turned around for this show. The storylines make sense, the actors are all on their A game, and I'm left wanting more. I haven't felt this way about this show in ages. It's amazing how fast things have turned around. If this momentum continues, OLTL could very well usurp GH as ABC's #1 soap. And no show has really improved. OLTL has the Todd's son stuff which is good....but I dont see anything else.
Members DevotedToAMC
I am going with AMC....since B&E have come on board, I have been impressed with the stories and am entertained by the show. Annie's past, Spike being deaf, Zach/Kendall, Jack/Erica, Aidan/Greenlee, JR/Amanda, Adam and JR vs. Zach are all hit stories for me
Members NYC123
Hmmmmm, each soaps has improved but none of them are good. AMC: They have improved alot but there still alot of work to be done. The Annie story still has been glued, the Crash storyline was great but anything else? Nada. OLTL: Has improved a ton! But still this Todd storyline is all thats going good for OLTL!
Members MichaelGL
OLTL and.....DAYS(hides) OLTL is really the most improved soap out there right now. I'm enjoying seeing more characters get airtime and more to say and do. Plus I am in love with OLTL's production values somedays. They are really best lit ABC soap. AMC looks like it's stuck in the 80s and GH looks too dark for my taste. I would have said GL, because of it's increased airtime for other actors, but the stories and characterizations still stink. Members Dale
I'd have to go with OLTL. I have been fast forwarding very little lately! Anyone else notice how effectively the writers are having cvharacters refer to people and events in their pasts? As a long time viewer, I really appreciate that. Members winterguy125
Well I would like to think ATWT is back on track but every time I start to think it is, it goes back downhill again, So I won't even bother saying ATWT. I tuned into Y&R for a few minutes the other day it looked better, now all I have to is get myself back into watching it again, lol.
Members Faulkner
I agree with OLTL. That Tommy story has caused the most interesting and most evenly divided debates I've on soap boards in recent memory. And like I said before, Kathy Brier and Nathaniel Marston are the most moving couple in daytime because they look like *real people.* They aren't slicked-back, touched-up models. Watching them is like seeing people you know getting their hearts torn out. And they're putting in some very emotionally wrenching performances. Members aMLCproduction
Wow I am surprised V said Y&R . Didn't know you liked Y&RI mean for me Y&R was never bad for it to improve. B&B has not improved and Days is Days and that's all I watch. So I guess Days somewhat has been improving
