It does you are right on that. I know they said something about a Kill Bill style storyline and I only saw a small snippet of Kill Bill on TV once and Uma Thurman's character was being buried alive.

I also went and looked up when JER was headwriter which started in 1992 with Sheri Anderson so he might of wrote that storyline.

He did write that storyline, Vivian burying Carly alive was JER's idea. Crystal Chappell ended up leaving because she didn't like the way JER was writing Carly (among other things).

I thought Crystal Chappell and Michael Sabatino had already announced they were leaving DAYS when JER became head writer.

Seems like they agreed to stay a little longer so the characters could be written off together???

I could be wrong.

Chappell left in October of 1993, well into JER's first solo year as head writer.

Seems to me Hogan also buried Rose alive on ATWT, if I remember right.

I totally forgot about that... but yes, he did. Before she aged, after she escaped the spa. It only lasted an episode or two... nothing like Carly's summer pushing up daisies.

He really is JER-lite. Too tasteful to do anything truly despicable or over the top, but too tasteless and over the top to be good.

I thought I read that Crystal was thrilled with the Carly buried alive storyline, and the big spike Days got from it, but she had already decided to go and wanted out of the show before Reilly's storylines started.

See China Lee is one character that I think everyone can agree on is useless. Just the name itself is hurting me to think about it.

A newbie like shouldn't be on for more than a week. The fact that they've given her kids and now Nick and Chelsea are stuck in this dumb storyline is beyond sad.

Just give me more of EJami and the whole feud storyline.

See, I see China Lee the way I saw Dr. Rebert. She was on for, like, three episodes, just to give Nick the kids, and now she's gone. And I'm sure she'll pop up once or twice more to move the story along. But she's such a C-player, and it's not like they've forced her down our throats like Willow. She's not even on contract, so why even make an issue out of her?
