If we think this week is bad next week is even going to be worse IMO, I think AMC goes to a 2.0 or 2.1, OLTL goes to a 2.2 or 2.3, GH falls to about a 2.3. DAYS might stay the same or fall to 1.9, Y&R will stay at 4.0 or drop to 3.9, GL will stay at 1.8 or drop to 1.7, and ATWT will stay at 2.0 or drop to 1.9. With school starting for more people than it did last week we will see a bigger hit. ABC soaps especially seeing as alot of teens watch those shows over the other ones, atleast I think anyway, lol.

OLTL might stay steady or rise in the next few weeks, not necessarily on its own merit. Some affiliates moved Passions to be against OLTL, in preparation for the departure. OLTL might pull some former Passions viewers not interested in the fourth hour of today (ATWT might as well, but I think OLTL stands a better chance with Passions' viewers). OLTL has buzz going with the string of events (the casino, Asa's death, and then the WOTY/Lindsay murdered Spence, and the custody battle is pulling in a lot of characters Higley ignored. It also might pull a few NBC viewers with FF's arrival (only SOME).

Ouch for AMC. That's brutal. Really, really, terrible. :( B&E have had MORE then enough time to prove themselves, and show off their stuff, and this is what we're left with? I almost, almost, miss Megan. And that's saying alot because I despise that plot point, character assassinting, hack "writing" crazy bitch. :o

When hell freezes over....thats when that bold part will come true.

AMC continues to do what doesn't work, and it's ratings keep falling. McTavish was not the problem (or not most of it). The problems are still there.

The show seems to have no concept of what works and what does not, and WHO works and who does not.

big word on that one. The show still lacks balence, and it also looks like the Zach and Kendall show isn't as popular as the internet would suggest

Well - this sucks for AMC - bc last week was really really good. Especially Thursday and Friday - classic AMC. Hopefully the writers make it more consistent and viewers take notice.

This week new storylines are starting, more characters being featured, and less 'Crash'.

GH sucks!

I would enjoy a Reality Show (gossip, bitchiness, back stabbing...lol....) about GH more then watching this uncreative repetitive recycled show.

Y&R

Monday: 4.1/5,560,000

Tuesday: 3.8/5,321,000

Wednesday: 3.9/5,258,000

Thursday: 4.2/5,636,000

Friday: 3.7/4,805,000

HAHA! I'm waiting for the inevitable collapse of this show so badly. FIRE LML AND FAST!

I'm stunned that ATWT has lost 800,000 viewers in one year, almost as many as DAYS.

Also, CBS is just bleeding 18-49 women. I know that they don't value that demo as much as ABC does, but it's not an encouraging trend.

Toups, I think you compared the numbers to the wrong week from a year ago -- at least the HH numbers.

Judging by those dailies, the holiday weekend obviously impacted ratings on Friday. When 8 of 9 soaps decrease on one day like that, something is up.

Thanks for posting those. Monday and Friday on Days were good but weaker days. I think the 1.9 on Monday was due to TTS. That was the only day it was on. The rest of the week had good numbers. TTS episodes always seem to have the lowest daily numbers. That is what has hurt the show this summer.

Again I ask what is it going to take to get those effin Hacks canned, another all time low in viewers.

I think CBS wants all of its four soaps to be at the bottom of the ratings list.
