I missed the first set but from what I saw in the second, Zverev looked out of sorts, serving many double faults and producing many UEs. I mean - I guess? But it would have been an advantage for whoever came from that side. I guess. If you discount he had to beat Nadal and Joker, I guess he had the advantage of being in their half.
