The upside to Serena's loss is we don't have to see that hideous outfit ever again!!!!!

Only managed to see about a set and Serena seemed to be adjusting her shirt a number of times. The fit was not good. The style (were those pleats?) seemed seemed like an idea that went awry.

Sabalenka may be a bit fatigued from all the match play but its still a good win for Coco.  Has to help in the confidence department.

Oy, Kei.

He needs to retire. That was just terrible. Sascha was complaining the whole match. He was fatigued big time. He was low in energy.

I have no idea. That was disappointing. He should've closed it out at 5-4. And in the tiebreaker he had chances but played the wrong shot. I'm curious if he will play next week at Lyon. He said he might depending on the results. Even though he listen thought he played better against Sonego than his previous round. Maybe John McEnroe is right in saying Thiem is now better player on hard courts. He isn't as patient as he used to be on clay. All that said he's never played well in Rome. He always does better in Barcelona, Madrid and in Paris.

Opelka in the semi? Lawd...I guess an easy draw helps. Now the tennis media is gushing over it.
