Members DramatistDreamer
It is way too early to tell what type of player Alcaraz is going to ultimately be, whether exceptional or mediocre. For crying out loud, he's 18, his physique has not even developed yet. We don't know what his agility or speed or resilience will be as his body changes, which can affect a player's career as much, or more than talent. Tiafoe got to the final of Estoril a few years ago, so I wouldn't dismiss him as some 'tomato can'. I wish he had stayed under Higueras' tutelage a little while longer though, because I thought Higueras made a great difference in Tiafoe's game, particularly on clay. Good for Pavs. I don't know what to make of her career overall, but I wouldn't count her out because every now and then she shows signs that she could have a big breakthrough. And let's face it, on the WTA side, anything can happen these days.
Members Soapsuds
I got up to see Thiem match and then went back to sleep. I didn't bother watching boring Bardy.

Members Soapsuds
It was a good match. The prince of clay lost. Tennis channel has now given Tsisitpas that title.

Many of these tennis commentators try to blame social media for starting intrigue but when you look at things for what they truly are, the commentators themselves are the instigators.

Members Faulkner
Uh, what is going on with Rafa down a set and break to Sascha Zverev on clay of all places?
Members Soapsuds
Damn Rafa sucked today. His shots were landing so short and had too many enforced errors. Was looking forward to a Nadal/Thiem semifinal.

Members ChitHappens
I think it's time Coco Gauff took some time off. She's playing an awful lot of tournies with no big results. She will be worn out by the time she's 20 and nothing to show for it. Barty and Sabalenka continue to show up and out. They are getting results so the multiple tournies make sense. Might hurt them before a slam but these aren't nothing titles they are winning. Gauff's father may want to rethink some things.
