Georges is a pleasant player, who I think maximized her game to the best of her ability. Towards the end of her career is when, I think, she played some of her best tennis in her career so while I was mildly surprised at the timing, I can understand that she may have wrung all that she had in her and may be tapped out as a result.

Given Kei’s recent level, I agree. In general, that’s a solid draw.

I haven’t seen Sabalenka in Ostrava, but to beat Jen Brady in straights on a hard court? Maybe she’s righting the ship? Of course, I didn’t see Jen’s level.
