DY takes the first set from from Querry!

I'd rather watch the DY match than this rushed, error-filled mess from Mugu.

Muguruza pulled it together surprisingly and came through with the victory. Credit to Kayla Day. Even when Muguruza stepped it up, she hung in there.

And wow at DY taking out Sam Querrey, which I didn't think he could pull off. I'm sad that we didn't get a chance to see him up his level.

Wow!  Congrats DY!  I thought Sam was gonna straight kill him.

I'll have to watch the replay. I missed it. Good for DY!

Damn...I wanted Edmund to beat Chi Pet.  Edmund needs to learn how to harness his power.  He also needs a better coach. I was not impressed with Novak's play.  So sick of his heart to the audience nonsense. Sorry Faulkner.....I can't stand Novak.

but he gets through a pretty hot Kyle Edmund  Delpo awaits.

Kyle Edmund is hot isn't he....teehee.....I didn't know till recently that he is South African and not really a Brit. He and Kevin Anderson would make a great team for South Africa. Both were born in the same city too.

Del Po will beat Novak in the next round.

Hey, we all have people we like and dislike, so it's no biggie.

I think Delpo would be a challenge and I could see it going three sets.  But if Novak can tighten up his game a bit, I like his chances.

Ha...they asked the blob that is Steve Johnson about his draw and this time he didn't cry and complain like he did at the US Open with Del Po. I had to LOL at how he said his game is good....yeah right that's why you lost so bad in the American reject tourney two weeks ago...LOL   Roger is going to eat him up in the next round.

Robert didn't look this grizzled the last time I saw him play. Half the ATP players look as if they haven't seen a razor or a comb in ages! I saw F-Lo and Benoit Paire recently and they look about one man short of a ZZ Top reunion.
