Like you said, it's a fanbase board and this kind of behaviour happens all the time. It's expected when you have these fanbases who only watch for their couple and to hell with anyone else.

This is why I prefer show fans than fanbase fans.

It's the fanbase fans that have ruined soaps.

Go to any actor pages' message boards and you'll always find hopelessly devoted fans, devoted to only one actor, one actress, one couple, one character. It's not just fans of Deidre Hall or John/Marlena. To think that only Dee/J&M fans are like this is like sticking your head in the sand.

And that is why the ratings suck. So many fans stop watching a show just because one person has left. What really kills me is when they do it for an actor who has left the show on their own and there was probably nothing including offering that person the moon the show could do to get that person to stay.

Everyone has the right to watch for their favorite character, but it just becomes a problem when it is taken too far, and you expect that the show should revolve around your favorite and you begin to hate anyone who isn't your favorite.

Now they can bask in their Deidre love and hate on everyone else in private......I did like reading the day ahead previews, but that was the only draw to the board for me..And honestly i don't care, i will blatantly bash those bitches..I've had a problem with their antics for 5 or 6 years now, just never had the opportunity to voice that...
