"Do you plan on calling a witness you haven't slept with?" haha line of the day.

But that makes a good point that in reality Ric would of probably not been allowed to try this case because of his close relationship with EVERY SINGLE PERSON involved.

Cause then we couldn't of had Carly running around all annoying being "I'm gonna volunteer to testify" crap that I think they wanted to be comedy relief expect it was stupid and I'm wanted Sam to bitchslap her again.

I haven't seen Thursday yet -- only Wednesday -- but cannot wait! GH has been really good lately. Apart from Snarly being shoehorned into EVERY damn scene. "Jason is my bestest friend in the whole world! We have a SACRED BOND and I'm gonna do whatever it takes to save him." Park your trumpet, Carly. I swear, they write her saying the same thing every day.

On a superficial note, Steve Burton looks hot as hell with his longer hair and buff physique. He was getting too old for the Bart Simpson 'do.

On another note, Julie Marie Berman is disappointing me. I loved her when she first came on and acting opposite Tony Geary and Genie Francis. But now I'm not sure she's the great actress that everybody says she is. When she found out Spinelli was in love with her (duh!), I found her reaction to be really cold. The dialogue was written with Lulu letting Spinelli down gently, but I felt like there was no emotion there with JMB. Bradford Anderson was playing it really well, really sad (and I'm not a fan of Spinelli), but she just seemed to be rushing through the scene. Lulu came off as snotty and flippant. And that hug she gave Spinelli - AWKWARD.

I really want to like Lulu because she's a Spencer and all, but somebody needs to talk to Berman about slowing down her line delivery and bringing some human emotion to scenes. She's great with the snarky one-liners but that's about it. While they're at it, they might want to sit Laura Wright down, too.

    •   I liked the effect of the curtains closing. Yeah it was like the end of Act I.   Or maybe they are simply trying to emphasize the drama of the end of an episode -- instead of a random abrupt end that has happened in some prior episodes.
    • I posted this in the behind the scenes thread but I know this thread is busier so wanted to mention it here as well. During their instagram live yesterday, Daphnee Duplaix and Trisha Mann-Grant mentioned that they will find out this month if the show is renewed for another season. Just a heads up so we can keep an eye out for an announcement and keep our fingers crossed for a multi-year renewal!
    • They haven't explained the ownership of the Bistro, but Doug told Holly the other day he didn't get the job there. Basically Roman just hired Doug on the spot and gave him a room.  It was really nice of Roman.  I don't know if he knows who Doug is or that he stole Julie's necklace.  That was unclear-at least to me.
    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
    •   Thank you! Agreed on both posts. And the comments about Mike Manning are nonsense.
    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
    • I've never found him as bad as some. I think he's always shined in scenes with Vernon, who should be his father. I also think he has great chemistry with Kat and Dani which I hope they tap into more over time. Dani/Martin feel like such a fun and believable Auntie/Nephew relationship.
    • I'm fighting for my life on another board for my husband Brandon and I'll do it here too lmao
