Today's episode seemed like classic Y&R to me only because they featured the characters who should be given storylines. Which are the Bill Bell created characters versus the two LML characters (Cane & David Chow) and all of the others like Logan, Karen, Maggie, William, Gi Min, Plum, etc.

Plus we got to see some boardroom action! That was what Y&R was known for in the first place! Please LML continue to follow the Bell Dynasty not the crap factory of new characters which have been crammed down our throats!

Yes, I thought the boardroom scenes were a bright spot. That's not saying much, given the idiocy with Daniel, Lily and Kevin.

Let's hope CBS/Sony locked Latham and her band of hacks out of the studio and brought in more intelligent and experienced writers who can actually write good stories.

That sounds like a mandate from on high (BB). She........hoepfully.......is now sick and damn tired of Y&R getting absolutely blasted on MBs and in the media for how bad it is. Maybe she told LML....

I watched today and I just had to laugh at Phyl's dialouge. She describes her and Nick's love as the greatest love of all time. "We play video games, talk and we have great sex".

That's a prime example why I think sucks so extremely badly. You can have horrendous pacing, stupid stories but great actor can still make it somewhat worth IF the dialogue is good.

Here I continously disagree with Sylph, of whom I've in general a very high opinion, but I think the dialogue on Y&R is even more sh*tty than the headwriting. These people know NOTHING about Y&R. They make stuff up instead of using history, the dialogue is extremely cheesy, contrieved and nothing but stupid and by it's dumbed nature I always totally felt sold for dumb.

Hence I'm no longer watching this poor excuse of a once great show written by real mastes of the writing class.

I like Phyliss/Jack/Sharon/Nick. Its fun to watch!

I like this story too. I also agree with other posters that the show is choppy and some of the dialouge is bad.
