I'm not saying it's illegitimate...but a whole new thread? There are daily threads for this, and mods delete/merge posts all the time. While I'm no fan of ATWT's teen scene, I watched last week and there were hardly any at all.

Leave OLTL for ATWT? Hell no. And I never said anything like that. Go back and read my first post. I simply made a statement. According to James, who is the biggest ATWT fan I know's statements, I dont think I would want to. I dont even see the relevance with that, related to my post.

I think ATWT has a problem isolating the teens in their own story. But when you look at it, NONE of them has an adult in their lives. Gwen has been on her own for ages, Cleo's some kind of mutant orphan. Jade talks to Lily once every two months. Will has Barbara, but talks to her sporadically at best. Maddie and Henry talk once every three months, and even when he's her only family in town, she lived with Tom/Margo while in high school. Luke has family up the wazhoo....but he barely talks to them, which is strange, since the Snyder Family as a whole is so interwoven into the show. And Noah's the new guy without family in town at all.

You are! That wasn't an insult, was it? You are usually very positive about the show, and optimistic about its future, from what I can tell. Moreso than most posters since SON doesn't seem to have a huge OLTL contingent.

GL has been "invaded" by teens lately but I don't find them nearly as annoying since their families play a huge part in their lives. ATWT has a problem with isolating characters in general.

I don't know but I find an outside observation interesting. Sure, he has a OLTL bias but ATWT viewers have their own biases. I think it's telling that a person who is a fan of a different show sees the same problems that I do watching the show on a more regular basis.

Oh I agree...ATWT has major problems with way too many teens on. But his comment of ...oh...back I go to OLTL wasnt necessary. Isnt it obvious he trying to pimp OLTL on this thread by that post?

Pimping would be saying, ATWT sucks, come watch OLTL. I just said, seeing the teens on ATWT, back to OLTL I go. It's a simple statement, that I dont think should offend you, as a Soap Opera fan, in general.
