Very unexpected. I mean, given the state of things at ATWT (though they seem to improving slightly), could she expect any better as Sierra? And on top of that, she's promoting Soap Star for 'DAYS'. Ouch.

Can't help but wonder if S/K won't last their contracts. Sad.

It was a slam against the show she is currently contracted to.

She's like, "I wish I were on the East Coast with you guys getting Emmys. Instead I'm in LA on this crapfest show that is teetering on the brink of cancellation."

If you tell your old employer you made a mistake in switching jobs, that means you want your old job back.

The Record is the local Kitchener-Waterloo newspaper (in Ontario, Canada) and isn't a gossip page. This was a fan's report of the event, and she overheard it. So unless she is outright lying, I believe it.

I find this hard to believe considering she was recurring at ATWT and had to commute to NY for taping. And even though S&K's story has sucked, she's still received decent airtime and gets to work with a close friend in SN. It's possible she mentioned missing her ATWT co-stars and this person twisted her words.

I'm with Ponz. Mary Beth has talked before about how much she hated having to commute for ATWT and be away from her family. She loved the show, just not the fact it was in NY.

That, combined with the fact that it simply isn't in Mary Beth's personality to complain about a show she's on makes me think that this bit of gossip was misheard or taken out of context. It could have been a joking remark, or the context could have completely changed how it was read. We just don't know.

I hate that she's going to get ripped for somethig she may not have even said.

Stephen on Mary Beth, the night before the Emmys: ""I count my blessings every day for Mary Beth because she is just the happiest person on earth. And you know, even if she's not happy, she fakes it. She is just so fun to be around and so uplifting."

    • While I do love the chaotic energy that is Kat vs Lesile, it is a bit extra. Sheltered, virginal Kat who plays it safe from her man to her wardrobe understands that Leslie is dangerous, but she's out here showing up everywhere and anywhere that Lesile is to be found and actively going to places where she is alone? I mean Kat doesn't even act a little afraid or intimidated by Leslie. Meanwhile, big Ole Derek out here begging for his and Ashley's life to Jacob.  As for Dani, I didn't see it that way. Dani and Bill were together for 30 years and shared a family. I believe there was real love there at one point. Bill is still an ass and Dani is still crazy, but realizing she may lose him and her daughter's may lose their dad definitely struck a chord.
    • Funny I randomly saw Kami’s lengthy post about the 44th anniversary of the Walton’s finale last week pop up in my news feed on Facebook. A few inaccuracies to her post but overall it was pretty insightful and interesting to read.
    • Well, depending on rewrites...Jennifer Richards potentially slept with Brandon and Alan. It does feel like we're forgetting someone, but then again, maybe I'm confusing that with brothers, which would include a lot more.
    • Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.
    • I think Nicole is about to figure out what's going on between Andre and Dani.
    • @Efulton thank you. I don't know how I missed it or didn't recall it.  I'll blame amnesia . Anyway @Errol Could the newer thread be merged to the existing? Thanks in advance.
    • I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there. Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.
    • Yeah, financially, Luna is in better shape than Deacon and Sheila.   -- Scott Clifton must have decided to chew the scenery in every scene of this "Liam is Dying" storyline. Yikes.
    • If J.R. wasn't busy with Ewing Oil, he'd be a heckuva soap recapper. He was SO gleeful at recapping Jenna-Bobby-Pam when the trio and Mark encountered each other at the Oil Baron's Ball. That being said, Lucy, presumably Sue Ellen and maybe Ray should all know this story, or at least part of it. Lucy was definitely at Southfork during Jenna and Bobby's relationship, and I believe Sue Ellen was about to marry J.R. around the time Jenna jilted Bobby. (Ray might not have given a damn.)
