Y&R, really needs to be updated. I really wish they would go back to the red opening, or the white used in the 90's

B&B, OK I guess

ATWT, has the best opening right now. I love all the Looks to the left, and how it ends with those chimes at the end

GL, I know its very unpopular, but I do indeed like the GL 70th anniversary opening

AMC, I have seen better from this show. Its too dark. Miss the 90's pearls opening.

OLTL, terrible. I miss the blue opening. Looks like AMC's and GH's opening

GH, although not the greatest, it is probably the best one of the ABC shows

Days, Its time to get with the program. Timeless or not, It's time for an update A little variation of the music like we heard in the summer a few years back. It would be nice to see characters too

Passions, I never really liked it that much. Complete overhaul is needed.

I, too, loved the big orchestra feel that came in 2004 to the DOOL theme. Why it didn't stay, I have no idea.

All My Children's is the best hands down IMO. I love the photo album opening and closing, all the older shots of like Phoebe and whatnot.

AMC's opening is one of the few that still has a "shoutout" to it's past in it's opening.

GH's is AWFUL, OLTL's is meh

ATWT's is pretty good, and Y&R's could be better(if it was updated)

All My Children's still showcases its history beautifully and the concept is a good one. I do think though after years of editing, the theme has lost alot of its lusture. But the scattered photos are a nice touch especially the amount of old photos.

Y&R's is boring and it makes it even worse that its only updated once every three years. The porn opening in terms of visuals was better than what they got now.

ATWT's new theme could have been done alot better. Nothing really jumps out at me. I guess its good that globe is back to spinning in the title card.

GL's anniversary open sucks and its boring. They did have daytime's best theme just prior to it, they should not have gotten rid of it.

DAYS is classic and I love it. I hope it never changes.

GH's is a hot mess. They butchered the once great faces of the heart piece.

OLTL's is "meh" LOL.

Currently, the best opening vote goes to... DOOL. It's original... but at least it isn't the same as some other soaps... I'd definitely vote for AMC or OLTL, but I hate the fact that all of those soaps have almost the same opening these days... I liked the old AMC opening (90s).

If I go back into the best, I'd definitely vote for SUNSET BEACH. The first opening was OK, but the second one (along with the music) was amazing.

I love the easy yet classic Days and Y & R opening

I have only seen, well more like heard the GL 70th anniversary one and i had a flashback to my childhood and captain planet! What does it say? earth...wind...fire? lol

I hope that the 2005-2006 "permanent" theme is what's played on Friday when GL gets more Emmy love!

I like AMC and B&B the best. They're sweeping and grandiose.

"Passions" is the best. Because it's upbeat, has the great images that show you the show is about history, families, romance and the mysterious New England harbor town of Harmony. The opening says SO much.

"Days" would be the best -- IF they kept the AMAZING New Salem opening they briefly had. It had a much more "grand" feeling to it. It made you feel like you were watching an event. Not just a regular episode of "Days." The instruments were louder and pounded differently -- or something.

I'm STILL waiting for Ken Corday's tell-all when he discusses why he made the shocking decision to cut the newer, BETTER opening.

Still nothing.

Well, you screwed up BIG time, Corday, by losing that opening. BIG time.

It's a great opening, but I personally don't feel as if it's not a true representation of the show and what it's about.
