For real?? Wow, that was the first thing I wanted to comment on! It looked like she had an unfortunate encounter with a weedwacker! Or maybe she drove a convertible on a really windy, blustery day! Seriously, it's like a blind hairdresser put extentions and highlights in her hair and then teased it up a little bit.

I liked most parts of today's show. Sami's hyperventilation/blood pressure thing is gonna get old real fast though, so I hope that wraps up soon.

Once again, a glaring example of how they've completely done a 180 to the Stephanie character. She complains that Salem is a boring city. Funny, she had no complaints the first 8 months she was living there. And she wants to go out and party til 7am? Was she partying with Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton in DAYTON?

Good Abe/Kate/Celeste scenes. I agree, Ponz, Hogan has given Celeste a great character to enjoy. Out the door EJ/Sami/Lucas and out and slam the door on Willow/Nick. Dreadful storylines...for my taste. I do think Kate is right is proving her beliefs however, she is extraordinarily lucky to have found what she needed so quickly.

I'm watching right now on SoapNet.

Boring as hell, except for the Celeste/Abe/Kate scenes. I'm thinking they should play Kate and Celeste as serious rivals! They're the two sexiest women in their age range, and they could certainly give Kate a rival her own age. If they won't bring Vivian back for her, then Celeste is a great second option! It'd also give Celeste some material that she so desperately deserves, seeing as how she's so goddamn entertaining.

And Nick! God, I love him. He's so sexy and adorable because he doesn't try -- he just IS! The lips, the eyes, the hair, the slim physique... GOD! I'm in love with him, LoL

Kenny i'm thinking Anna and Kate will end up being rivals..or at least thats what i hope will happen....Anna and Kate both have a history with Roman..and Kate had a brief flirtation with Tony that may be revisited...But i could totally go for Celeste being a rival to Kate, i'm loving Tanya Boyd lately..

    • yes. today Monday's episode started with words displayed "part 1" and ended with "to be continued"
    • I find Missy Reeve's views offensive and I don't want to defend her, but I don't think she ever said anything publicly about Days "gay content".   In fact, I don't think she's ever said anything negative about Days at all.  There's no indication Missy is difficult or unprofessional on set-except for the whole affair thing years ago lol-but that's a whole different topic. I can dislike Missy as a person and still think she's the perfect fit for Jen.  Cady tried and it didn't work for me.  Whenever Missy steps into the role it works.  It's a two things can be true situation.  Missy has some bad opinions, but she's great at playing Jennifer.
    • Doesn't the funeral go into Tuesday
    • Christian Streaty wrote her second freelance script today on Days. Surprised they gave the first funeral episode to a newbie.
    • And the third thing, which I have no cite for, and I may look to see if one is findable, but supposedly she said that the show had too much gay content in it. And, to be fair, that could be someone making a criticism about balance & not be bigotry but when it's added to the other, that's why it bugs people.

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.
