The Bianca/Zoe scenes are really not appealing to me right now. This story had so much potential and it's started out strong out the gate, but it quickly fell flat.

I co-sign with the rest of you. Die Jamie DIE!!! He really gets on my [!@#$%^&*] nerves!!!

You know, I keep getting the feeling that Krystal and Tad's baby won't live for a very long time. Looking at them as real people, that would be a horrible thing, but looking at them as soap opera characters and for storyline purposes, I think it'd be a good thing. It would be perfect if the baby had some kind of infection or something and then, after grieving and such, Krystal and Babe could just leave town. I can easily see Colby blaming herself for the baby's death and what-not.

And I still think that Agnes should come out of retirement, write some sort of redemption storyline for these two characters and write them out of the show. It doesn't even have to be Agnes. It can be anybody who truly understands the process of redeeming characters. Any character can be redeemed.

I think it's funny, and this might start something, but I think it's really funny that when Bianca was pregnant with and had Miranda, people were screaming from the hills that it didn't matter who her father was, she was an innocent child who did not ask to be brought into the world. People talked about how they hated Bianca's rape, it was only done because she was a lesbian, she was only made pregnant because she was a lesbian, etc, but they just *love* Miranda, even though she is a constant reminder of a storyline that they absolutely hated. But now that Krystal's had a baby, it's a-okay to not care about the kid because of her parents and they way she was conceived.

LOL - touche! ;)

Most people are just biased towards their favorite characters and least favorite characters. I'm very much guilty of that as well - but it's something worth noting for sure. Bianca was a beloved 'victim' back then...Krystal is a hated 'slut'. Regardless, no matter how the child is conceived, that poor baby is innocent. :)

I think everybody's guilty of that. For a while, I really couldn't stand just the sight of Spike because I really hate his mother and his "father," but I like to watch the scenes with him now, as long as Zach isn't around. I like the little kid.

And wow...Adam just fired Winifred? Did she REALLY just quit the job she's had for 11 years over Krystal and Babe? SERIOUSLY?

What does Bianca have to do with the KWAK hate?

I don't care for krystal, Tad or their bastard love child. None of their scenes register as sentimental or sweet. They're nothing but two dogs who Animal Control shoud've put down a long time ago. They're just, in the famous words of Drucilla Winters, scandalous.

Boy, Adam seems DEVASTATED that Little Adam is leaving the mansion. I kinda feel bad for him because his whole world has been ripped apart in the matter of a few short weeks.

I can see it now!!! Jonathan will fall for Ava. I was hoping the writers wouldn't go this direction. Maybe this is one of MMT's "briliant  " ideas and the new HWs will rectify this before it's too far gone.

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?

    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
