The new opening is so so. The music I really dont like. I prefer the mid bumper theme much better. It is a bit faster. Love the background shots of old clips of the show. Lily, Lucinda, Craig, Bob and Kim. Luke is looking mighty hot in his pic. Glad to see him in the opening. But why is Ally front and center. She is a new to the show and she gets top billing! And why why why is Austin Peck in the opening? I want him gone! I've been listening to it at youtube. It will have to grow on me. Hope to see a different version on tomorrow's show.

Dusty the scene on the left in that image is Luke and Holden I believe. I know it is Luke for sure and he is sitting on a bench.

well it's definitely different.. I dunno if i like it but I like how CarJack start it and Lily & Holden end it.

I have just added the opening to my favorites on YouTube, I can see it know I am going to be watching it 200 times a day, it is so catchy, and I am even humming the music now, lol. What's even worse is that is all I did during the show today, I did not even watch the show just the opening over and over again.

I think Jack and Carly have the best shot. Everyone elses... YIKES!

Trust me after you watch it enough you will love that music, I think it is the best in daytime, I just really like the slow beat and then it picks up into a modern theme, sort of shows the 51 year history of the show. Though I think Bob and Kim should have came a tad bit before the upbeat part started, but they were in the middle sort of so I was kind of ok with it. Will and Gwen should have been in the upbeat part also. I totally loved like another poster said Carjack in the beginning and Lily and Holden in the end, that was classic IMO.

I think the theme would also be tons better if they started it from where Bob/Kim's shot begins.

Just re-noticed that Van has dark hair in the opening instead of his usually blonde-frosted locks.

And Maura looks exactly like she did before maternity leave, prompting me to ask..did they photo shop her in?

Also confused by the akward head movements and solemn looks all the cast members are giving.

I love it really good job Ryan, just you will even have more to work with if we get some other versions of the openings. And I agree the world does not turn without them.
