Not that it's really action packed, but I'm sure it will pick up in April before exploding in May again! I am new to GH, so I can't really talk about the past, but still HAPPY B-DAY! Prior to April 1, 1963, no one could touch CBS's soaps. NBC had only half-assed up it to that point and ABC hadn't even tried. Both GH and The Doctors were ABC & NBC's 1st really successful soap operas. NBC proved quicker to get in on the act premiering AW in 64 and Days in 65 while ABC followed with a flurry of short-lived soaps in the mid60s before launching Dark Shadows in 66 and OLTL in 68.
