Wow. Just Wow. I went to work and found out that a very good friend of mine has a brain tumor. He will have surgery within the next two weeks. He will be ok, it is not life threatening, but it is still brain surgery. He's going to be out of work for at least six months because of rehab. I'm just stunned.

Then, another one of my friends will most likely need to have a hysterectomy and she despreately wants to have children. I just can't believe all the bad news I recieved today

I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope that their situations get better. This seems like a bad day all around for news.

Thank you, I appreciate that.

On another note and nothing to do with you LA, I am so freakin aggravated that I may just pull some of my hair out. So annoyed.

I'm so over 9/11. I will never in my life be able to forget that day. I think about it every day. But the day gives the media excuse to do what they do best. We don't need to relive it every year. We don't need to see interviews with victims and their families. It sickens me. Sigh. I just hate overblown events. I prefer to have my own private, silent moments. Guess that's just one of those things, though.

As much as we don't need to relieve 9/11, I live with the fact that I lost loved ones...I lost friends, I lost folks that I worked with. So it's not something that can just be forgotten, or for me, to be ignored. It changed a lot in me that day.

I choose not to watch the television when the news comes on to talk about it, becuase it just builds up inside me all the senselessness that went on; all the hate that took away sooo many lives; took away so many parents; took away so many heros....and changed the world forever.
