I just want to reiterate that please do not use this thread or any other thread to bitch about SON or its members. If you have a problem, PM me.

Even snide remarks (ie: "Oh joy" or "here we go again" with an eye rolling emotion) will be deleted - I'm going to take that as a bitch towards SON. But if you to say those type of things, be specific (ie: "Oh joy, it's raining again!"). :D

Fair, but I have to ask (and this is by no means sarcastic): why do complaints have to be private and hidden and what not? It doesn't have to be this particular thread, but there can be one in specific.

    • The show never had as much interest in Liz's kids, but my guess is when the strike writers had him come out to Liz that probably killed most of the future potential he had for story.
    • Such a big part of JJ's Lucky was his relationship with his dad. It's too bad the show didn't try to explore Lucky's relationship with his son. I guess that would have meant trying to cast a proper, age appropriate, good actor as Aiden, something it seemed the show didn't really want to invest in. So many missed opportunities.
    • As I said in another post, JJ isn’t even my preferred Lucky. I have no affection for 90’s Lucky as I wasn’t watching. So essentially I’ve seen JJ come back twice and both runs sucked

    • I think a lot of the time, a producer will spread a story to let an actor (or themselves) off the hook. "Oh just tell Zimmer she is very popular but someone with pull is jealous and wants her out." Actors are ALL narcissists so its easy to believe something like that.
    • Looks like Anita's departure coincides with Tamara Tunie leaving to direct Stompin' at the Savoy in Delaware. It's a smart way to write her out temporarily. I expect the Articulettes to go on tour whenever a new project takes Tunie away from BTG. Hopefully that means we will see more Tracy and Sharon in the future.
    • When they set the black and white picture of The Articulettes on the coffee table, I wonder if we will see flashbacks of Anita, Tracy, Sharon, and Barbara when they were younger in Chicago.
    • As long as no names were directly mentioned, it's a bit of a harmless lie, but you are right that she could have just heard something, or someone said that to her at the time rather than just saying the story wasn't popular and she was being written out. Or it could have been true, of course.
    • I hope so!   Despite allegedly being on the show for several years, Neil Wade got a total of ONE paragraph in the Laguardia book.   Paraphrasing, it said, Neil Wade (Michael Lipton) "helped Penny put her life back together after Jeff's death", "was a physician who didn't practice medicine for personal reasons" (didn't know that), "opened a bookstore with Penny" (sounds right), "planned to adopt a baby with Penny who couldn't have children" (sounds right), "began losing his vision and was struck and killed" (who knows?), and then Penny ultimately moved to Europe and married the racecar driver and adopted an Asian baby named Amy (sounds right).  And that was it.
