According to SOW, his contract negoiations with Y&R have hit a stalemate.

Can't say I would be unhappy if Josh left. Maybe I could get back Jack and Phyllis if Josh left. And I have the perfect exit story for Nick. It comes out that he lied about Summer's paternity and she is Jack's. That leads to Nick running out of town with his tail between his legs. ::Sigh:: It won't happen but a girl can dream.

Nick has been pretty much wallpaper since he and Phyllis were rushed through a romance. It made no sense to make them lovely dovey so quickly. Nick/Sharon were poised to be the next Victor/Nikki.

Ulitmately, I think he will stay but Phyllis/Nick will be broken up. Thankfully.

I'lll be sad if Josh leaves. I really like him. I'm sure Y&R will do what they can to keep him.

Would hate for Josh to leave, but would LOVE if they did in fact end the Phyllis/Nick romance....It's getting to be to the point where the couple are stagnant and don't have much to say except some cheesey love phrases for one another from time to time... the FIRE has died.

Decision Time! Young and Restless Stud Stays in Genoa City

Good news! Joshua Morrow, who stars as Nicholas Newman on The Young and the Restless, has inked a new longterm contract with the CBS sudser. "I'm happy to know where I'm going to be for the next five years," Morrow confirmed in a statement.

Morrow joined Y&R at age 19 back in 1994. While other soap studs try ditching the daytime suds for high falutin' careers in primetime TV and films, he likes his steady job. "For me, it's all about staying home with my family," Morrow explained. "I love being able to take my kids to school and pick them up afterwards most days."

Hot and humble. FYI, I listed Morrow among the "Top 10 Soap Hunks" in my recently-published book, The Q Guide to Soap Operas. Can you think of a more deserving dude?
