That's what I was thinking. But I assumed that he would frame Sami. It would be nice if Lucas thought it was Sami too and tried to cover for her and Sami could think that Lucas did it and try to cover for him and in the end it turns out to be someone unexpected. I have a guess but I hate to say who and ruin it if this whole thing pans out.

I neve even thought that Celeste could be working for the DiMeras again. I would absolutely LOVE that storyline. And you're right about Celeste not being worrid about Lexie's disapparence. I'm a strong believer that Lexie is returning this year and has been taking care of Stefano this entire time. :D

daysfan, I don't know if you want to be surprised, but no we don't actually find out what happened. :( There are a lot of references though to history, like John raising Elvis, Tony wanting Sami to bore his child, etc. It's a great eppy.

Celeste says "Stefano took Elvis Junior away from his mother."

This means he somehow tracked Susan to England and kidnapped Elvis Junior!! :( :(

Unless of course he took him away when he was older, like college-age...and then Stefano prevented Elvis from other speaking to Susan again and renamed him. The British accent means he definitely grew up in Susan's care in England.

It could go tons of ways Rion but since Hogan has seemed to like to nod to history, and I hate to say this since Susan is your favorite character but I would not be suprised if she is dead. Because, if he was a child and Stefano took him I would think Susan would rush to Marlena or John to ask for help.

So Tony wanted Sami to have his child? That would make alot of sense, but at the same time it confuses me....

That's why I think Stefano got to EJ when he was older. Young enough to be "taken away", but old enough to choose to stay away. Maybe Stefano threatened to kill Susan if EJ went back to her. And maybe Stefano threatened to kill Susan if she went to Marlena. Or maybe Susan's imprisoned somewhere. I hope not. I hope that Susan's in England with Edmund, living in fear that if she tries to contact EJ, both their lives will be in danger.

This storyline is so tricky...If Stefano figured out Susan was alive, and was able to track her down, does that also mean he rescued Kristen from the fortress dungeon in the Carribean? If so, why hasn't Kristen come back to Salem to get John back?

Also, Stefano could've given Kristen to Tony, and then Tony would never have orchestrated the Salem Stalker revenge scheme.

Hogan is nodding to history, but not in a way that properly incorporates the elements of the Killing Pool, which was Kristen/Susan's big exit storyline.

OH, Days4Life! You've figured it out, which is more than I can say for me...that is brilliant that you did that.

Meanwhile, I rewatched the controversial EJ/Willow scenes from yesterday and was shocked to see that, if you listen and watch very carefully, not only did EJ put Willow in a compromising position, HE. SLAPPED. HER. ASS. AFTER IT.

Yes, "Porno of Our Lives"!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was shocked, to say the least!

No one's disagreeing that Days4Life is brilliant to figure it out -- but Idisagree that Hogan's TWIST would be brilliant or very effective. Who wants to see Sami in jail -- again? We want to see her happy at SOME point in her life!

Sorry, for me, I'd rather have EJ THREATEN to turn her in for trying to kill her -- unless, oh, yes, EJami fans -- UNLESS sh emarries him. And they do.

,, AND !!!

How, pray tell, is it absurd? Maggie, our beloved Maggie, for God's sake, said the same thing. Max is bad news.

He's a slut and a whore and he'd hurt Abby's virginal -- yes, VIRGINal heart. If Mabby will ever become anything, and I predict they will, he'llHAVE to break her heart for him to finally be happy with her. DrewHamilton already gave the perfect scenario, acknowledging Max's scumminess, if you hadn't heard...

Steve had some great humor in this ep. Nice to see that after the heavier, dramatic stuff that he has been doing. I loved the "assume the position" comment about kissing the doctor's butt, and the kiss on the nose and their expressions afterward were priceless.

I thought the new doctor did a great job today - I know she has been around a lot but I can't recall her name. Nice job filling that role, as compared to the actor filling Dr. Pervert's role.

Rachel Melvin did a great job today showing Chelsea's tenderness and heartbreak. It was not overdone and that was nice to see.

The Sami and Celeste scenes were good. Nice to see the inherent tension in their relationship acknowledged. However, whenever Lexie is brought up, it painfully reminds me how the gaping hole of her possible death has not been addressed by the rest of Salem.

The EJ and Kayla scenes were good also. I kind of got the feeling that Kayla threw EJ off a bit when she suggested how EJ could turn away from the evil legacy of Stephano similar to how Steve turned away from his monster father's legacy. Not that I think he would consider it, but he was probably not expecting to hear a sympathetic viewpoint from this woman who is beyond furious with him.

    • Annie was not brought in as an antagonist for Reva. Reva wasn’t even on the canvas when Annie first appeared in late 1994.
    • The speculation……….very entertaining.
    • I had forgotten that several Days stars came out strong against Melissa. Good for them!
    • That would have made sense. Did all these characters get dropped when DePriest left or had they already been dropped?
    • The other issue with Missy: in June 2020, she "liked" some social media posts by Candace Owens -- things Candace said that were against Black Lives Matter.  That is described here https://tvline.com/news/melissa-reeves-racism-days-of-our-lives-instagram-controversy-2894568/ I don't know if that was ever resolved.
    • She appeared onscreen not long after Rose Livingston and Sara Montaigne, and we found out that Sara was Rose's estranged daughter. I wonder whether Peggy might have been part of that family group -- or else they were just juggling a few different potential mysteries so that they could develop whatever seemed to be getting the best response from the audience. They didn't do anything much with Rose and Sara really either. Maybe Rose would have become more prominent if Rachel and Mac had split up over Mitch, or if Sara had really flourished. In some ways I can picture Cheryl being affected by MJ's prostitution similarly to how Josie was distressed by finding out about Sharlene. But I can also see that Josie as a Frame being involved with Matthew would have different stakes for Rachel and Sharlene than Cheryl being involved with Scott. I do think the solution for Cheryl would have had to be a badder boy than Scott -- either a real bad boy who would do her wrong, or the kind of bad boy (not Chad!!!) who is essentially misunderstood and other people just don't understand. Cheryl would also have been better off with some friends her own age. Matthew and Josie benefited a bit from having other teenagers to interact with.
    • Sally Spencer was a decent actress, but the writing destroyed the "M.J." that Kathleen Layman had built. Layman had a quiet strength about her, and she and Osburn really felt like sisters. Spencer's character should have been either an unmentioned sister, or maybe Jake's that grew up close to Kathleen, M.J. and the rest, but was away for a few years before joining the force. Kristen Marie was o.k., but I always got a mousier vibe from her. Being pigeon-holed with Scott for most of the run hurt things for her, as well.  The Loves were also underserved between Rhonda Lewin and Philece Sampler. Philece would have been better as Nicole. Thank goodness Anne Heche  showed up for the next round of auditions. Christopher Holder was mediocre as Peter, but given a shot, I think Marcus Smythe could have stuck around for a while.  I would have had Peggy Lazarus be a Frame -- possibly an ex-wife for Vince with an agenda. Smythe and Hollen had  a fun chemistry that could have kept the two around.. Bringing recasts for  Cheryl and Ben back mixing it up with other Frames. Corys, Lawrences at the time might have kept all the families stronger.
    • shoot...he said in that Locher room with Krista. I think he met her before that---she was doing Broadway and they had mutual friends or an agent maybe?
    • Yes. And I assume he met Mary Ellen Stuart at GL.
