Yes. Quite serious, LoL

I was also involved with quite a fed pedophiles from around the age of 8 - 14. I know one of them, and I'm thinking of turning them in because I know they're molesting boys. I should do it, but I'm ashamed of coming forward what what I did. Plus, it's been quite a while since then, so I'm not sure if it would make a different now, anyway.

Um, are you kidding me?

Jennifer was one of the ONLY genuine winners on that stage tonight! She spoke from her heart, was NOT ashamed, like some people who are Christians (it's okay if you're not) to thank GOD, who you REALLY couldn't have done it without, and you could tell she was shocked as all heck to win the thing. I'm so happy for her. Words cannot express the joy I feel in my heart for her. She is TRULY a real life Cinderella.

Screw YOU, Rogers and Hammerstein. Jennifer Hudson's story is the TRUE fairytale, hacks!

Didn't like Helen Mirren's dress. The flowery print was too much like a drape.

Liked Nicole Kidman's dress except for that big ribbon.

Penelope's dress was great although she looked a bit rough.

I am SOOOOOOOOOOOO glad Diane Keaton has FINALLY stopped rocking the Annie Hall look. It only took 30 years.

-I'm a little shocked Alan Arkin won. He was great in LMS but didn't have much screentime. It was obviously a Let's give it to anyone BUT EM thing.

Helen Mirren - most gorgous woman of the night.

Still, as much as lead actress was a tough race and Mirren is a worthy choice I'd preferred Judi Dench to win this. LMAO about Ellen's boob remark...

Also swooning for Cate Blanchett although that dress was a bit 80s flashy.

Nicole Kidnam on the other hand had one fugly dress. That red ribbon made me crazy. I was thisclose jumping in a plane to rip it off her. Surprised taht her junky husband made it to the Oscars though. Good for her.

But what was Meryl Streep thinking? Loved her at the real award show with the Prada gang-interaction but she looked like a hippie - kinda like Kim Zimmer for last year's daytime Emmys...

Speaking of bizarre events: Reese Withersppon looked good in her dress but she could hardly walk in it. It was a riot seeing her forced movements trying to get centrestage. LOL!

About the show: It was long, even longer than usual. It was not too boring but they overstressed the sideline-categories a bit. And I didn't like any of these shortfilms about the Spirit of America and other stuff. Whatever. Ellen was good but I've seen her better. Cheered when she handed Martin Scorcese her script. LMAO!

Most shocking event of the night: Melissa Etheridge kissing Tammy Lynn Michael from "Popular" and the censors forget to push the censorship button. Wow.

Overall, the winners were pretty well selected for a change. Was much more disappointed the last couple of years. Yay for "The Life of Others" as best foreign language release.

    • I wouldn't call Tomas' cuts a modern cut. They appear to be a slim/extreme slim cut⏤cut slimmer down the sides, with a higher armhole, which pulls up/out, depending on the fit of the person's body. Again, I feel like Ms Featherstone is buying to fit the wrong parts of the body; instead of buying to fit their widest parts (shoulders), she's buying things to fit their middle/waist (which is the easiest to ultimately fix without a complete re-cut), and it shows in the finished product. And the only reason it irks me is because I worked in suit sales for nearly ten years, and I notice these things immediately. The fashion(s) on this soap are miles ahead of three of the four others (I like the fashions from Y&R), but the tailoring is a choice, especially where the men are concerned.
    • There probably would have been a good chance they knew of him, especially with his ties to Spaulding and his being involved in so much scandal (meaning there would be plenty of photos and articles around they both would have seen), but I agree the mask was silly, clearly just a TV moment.

    • I think all the suits are fit too tight, except for Jon Lindstrom's. DC lawyers/doctors are not all LA fashion elites. Yes, maybe Tomas would have a more modern cut to his suit, but an established guy like Bill wouldn't go around looking like that lonely button on his jacket was ready to explode constantly.
    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.
    • RIP Wayne Lewis.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
