DAYS: Alison Sweeney Named New Host of "Biggest Loser"

She looked like she should have been a contestant instead of the host, IMO.

I've always thought the host of that show should be a little overweight. It's not like she was 250 or something like most of the contestents. I think Ali is a good choice too, since she's not tiny. To me, having someone who is model thin would be kind of demeaning to the contestents. It would definitely turn me off as a viewer.

It's nice to know Ali will have a job when Days goes off.

Sorry, only thing guaranteed at this point is that NBC is no longer Passion-ate.

The show did a great job in who they chose. Sweeney has had her fair share of problems with her weight, so she can talk to the contestants about her past problems.

Yes, NBC. Pimp Sweeney. First decision I've liked from y'all in a long, long time.

I love Sweeney so much.

NBC seems to love Ali on these sorts of things. They've had her on The Weakest Link, Fear Factor, 1 vs. 100, Las Vegas (cameo)... anything else? I knew that it would lead to something like this, because she has a very likable and bubbly personality. Congrats to her!

She also did that one week cooking show last year too.

She has done so many of these competitions. Even on Soaptalk she always did physical challenges or challenges of some sort.

She has the right personality for this kind of stuff and I am so glad NBC is pimping her. She is definitely the right actress to pimp right now.

Her role on "Las Vegas" was larger than a cameo.

Ohh, she was also on "American Dreams." Forgot about that one!

FRIENDS! She played a spoiled, evil soap opera star on "Friends."

So, that's six primetime shows that I can think of from the top of my head that she's been on. Not bad at all, IMO.

Was she on American Dreams? I thought it was only Arianne, Farah, John Aniston, and Frances

Hmm, I would hate myself if I don't remember that she was on another episode, considering I'm a huge AD fan.

As far as I know, Arianne was never on American Dreams. It was Ali Sweeney. She and Farah Fath played Playboy Playmates or something.
