Members Actor87
So, basically, if you take this vaccine (if it ever gets developed) and you're guaranteed an AIDS-free life?
Members EricaKane70
This is great news, lets hope that they find the right vaccine.

Members juppiter
I hope that I live to see the day where AIDS, like the Bubonic Plague, is just a memory.
Members Shawn
Hear, hear. I will never give up hope.
Members bellcurve
As long as the government makes tons of money off of keeping people dependent on drugs, cocktails, etc. then I don't see this changing anytime soon. And if it is available, then I'm sure it will be a "woman only" vaccine, like the HPV vaccine. Don't mean to sound like a conspiracy theorist... Members Danni
The Plague still exists. It's just heavily contained.
Members Brandeis
Maybe if the Reagan Administration hadn't ignored it for so long we'd further along than these maybe hopes.
Members Q Steph
I believe there is a cure. It's simply a matter of the pharmucetical companies not wanting to relinquish their financial hold on this matter. Everything in nature has its counter. The epdidemic known as AIDS is no different, but a lot of people are dying as suits get rich. I have my doubts over Magic Johnson.
Members Ms. Walsh
I really hope that they find a cure, or at least a vaccine or some kind of medication to control it. I heard that w/in 25 years, there should be some kind of containment of cancer. Maybe we'll see an end to it and AIDS w/in my lifetime (I can only hope) I thought that w/ Magic Johnson, it was b/c he was HIV+, not that he had AIDS.
