TV Guide is reporting that Soapnet has picked up both shows for syndication, they begin airing in April.

I hate that Soapnet has picked up two newer programs, but I guess thats what they are going for now. At this rate we will never get Santa Barbara and Dallas will probably be taken off the schedule, like all of the other primetime shows from the 80s.

I never watched One Tree Hill so i don't really care about that, but I am actually kind of excited about The OC. I saw season 1 on DVD and I loved it and at the time season 3 was starting on TV and I didn't want to watch season 3 until I saw season 2 and I never got around to it. I'm excited I can finally see it all on soapnet without having to worry about renting or buying the Dvd's.

This makes me want to drop my digital subscription for good. I mean, does he even remember that daytime soaps exist?!

Talk about disappointing... it's not like they will be the only people showing this in syndication either. Outside of same day viewing and weekend marathons of Y&R, OLTL, AMC, DOOL, and GH, SoapNet is starting to lose it's appeal.

The O.C. and One Tree Hill will air Monday-Friday, beginning April 9. The O.C. will air at 6PM, One Tree Hill at 5PM. SOAPnets number 1 acquired soap with women 18-34, Beverly Hills 90210, will lead into both new series at 3PM and 4PM.

I guess Frons wants to drag SoapNet down into the shitter along with ABC.

R3dheartz, both Seasons 2 and 3 of The O.C. suck. Trust me, they won't even be worth your time.

I would much rather see ATWT, GL, or B&B on Soapnet instead of more Primetime shows, that just drives me nuts.

If they insisted on getting a primetime show I wish they would have got Party of Five. I havent seen that show since its initial run.
