This episode was kind of boring, IMO.

The conversation between Lucas and EJ seemed to have carried on forever. I was surprised that Lucas rejected EJ's offer now, but I'm confident that will change!

Kate is pure evil! She even had me convinced that she was being sincere towards Sami. Now, I know that Sami and Kate will NEVER call it truce.

Why didn't Willow tell Shawn she is pregnant? That was weird! I like the person Chelsea is becoming. The conversation between her and Belle was nice.

The ending was awesome with Phillip banging on the door to the safe house. I have a feeling that in order to protect Belle and Claire, Chelsea is going to wind up putting herself in danger. I hope they make it on the train. I'd like to see this storyline play out in Africa!

Ok, am I the only who thought the ending effect with Philip banging on the door made him look like he was the door a handjob?

This episode was wonderful. There were a lot of nice subtleties. Willow's hand on her stomach while Shawn looks away... Kate saying how Sami's got her claws into her son and cutting to Sami filing her nails, just little things that either cracked me up or just made you go uh oh.

Poor Sami. She'll never be naiive when it comes to Kate after this.

Chelsea had great growth today, in her conversation with Belle. The fact that Belle let her hold Claire says a lot. And Shawn's resistance to the idea of Chelsea helping was also a great window into exactly how Chelsea feels everyone in the Brady family veiws her, no matter how good she tries to be.

I must say, though; if we're only going to focus on one storyline or two in an episode... bigger cast? Not a much bigger one, but come on now.

I was about to post the same thing about that.

I am loving Chelsea more and more each day. I hope that she does start to behave but still have a mean streak. Can't have all the bad girls turning good.

On the Run, IMO is a really good storyline and I enjoy it everyday. I LMAO everytime Willow speaks and Philip yells at her.

Psycho Philip?!

Is that Will's haircut? I really hope it was cut more than that.

What is Elvis up to? Just make Sami pee on a stick and get on with it. I don't know but I love watching what he is doing. EJ kept saying that Lucas had mouths to feed, and Lucas snipes back that they have only one mouth, door open enter will, speaking of, hey mouth how ya doin. :P

Oh Kate, I really truely hope you get yours this time.

Ali has looked absolutely fabulous lately.

Oh and the cheerios commercial was on again. So I finally got to see it this time.

Belle: I can't protect my daughter without Shawn!

UGH! This is the Belle that I [!@#$%^&*] hate!!! Hogan was doing so well, molding Belle into an independent woman, not needing a man to take care of her or her daughter, and then he delivers this today. I hate needy-Belle. This is just Kirsten Storms all over again, only Madison can act.

Another SWEEPS episode revolving around Shelle, Phillip and Nick and Chelsea. I can't believe it. This is ridiculous.

And why is Belle regressing. What about the strong woman who kicked Shawn out unless he found a job? Seriously WHAT is happening to this show?!!

Really... I don't need you asking me about me viewing habits... If you can't take the heat then get out the kitchen :). I go leaps and bounds to praise DAYS when it deserves it, which wasn't too long ago. I'm very passionate about DAYS and have been watching it for almost 20 years now. I can vent, I can complain and DAYS deserves it right now.

Same here. Today's show was good.

Kate is such a [!@#$%^&*] and I love it. Lucas/EJ was boring but I liked the rest. Ali is looking great.

I love that they brought Nick and Chelsea into the story. I am loving them and how they are redeeming Chelsea.

I am liking Willow God help me. I liked her scenes with Shawn. JKJ is rocking in this story.

Ok show. It's only day two of sweeps so I am not expecting huge things this early.

Why is it ridiculous to have Shelle & Philip be a focus of an episode or a story? You talk about recognizable characters being in the background during sweeps, they have been a major part of Days for nearly 8 years! Sami and Lucas for 16, Kate for 11. I'm sorry there's not more Bo & Hope and John & Marlena for you to watch every single day, they were on almost daily for November to December, its now time to showcase other stories. But regardless of that, they are not - and have never been all that there is to Days of Our Lives.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
    • I don't, since they've clearly incorporated them into Tomas' storyline, and I happen to like his tattoos, but his jackets not fitting doesn't mean they're trying to cover his tattoos. The clothing overall isn't the issue; it's the fit. And I expect(ed) more from Jeresa Featherstone and her team. Very disappointed. He's the only male, overall, whose costume irritates me.
    • "And OMG, watching the scenes of Roger's return in comparison...the quality in the writing really nosedived. The stupid mask." Very much agreed.  Having Roger hide behind a mask for weeks/months, with it culminating with him swinging in on a vine at Blake/Phillip's wedding....geez.  So juvenile. IMO, Guiding Light never did a good job reintroducing major characters, either from the dead or elsewhere.  Masked balls = awful.  Amish = awful. When Reva was brought back from the dead, she should've just showed up in Springfield as Reva, and informed everyone that she had been gone for years because she felt like it.  She had a four-year fling with some dude who ended up dumping her due to disloyalty. Josh would be pissed and declare that their love is not *always* but *sometimes* and he'd act accordingly.  Her kids would hate her.
    • Agreed. The Emmys next year are gonna be a pretty tough competition and I hope we get a Days sweep lol  Not only does Deidre deserve a nomination for these last few weeks, but I also think Paul Telfer, Raven Bowens, Carson Boatman, Dan Feuerriegel and Alison Sweeney have good chances as well.
    • It’s not about a lack of faith and trust in MVJ, it’s about a a lack of faith and trust in Ron Carlivati, who I think can be very sneaky and manipulative when he wants to be.  And, all that “He’s just a breakdown writer” talk never changed my mind about anything, because at Days, it was “just a breakdown writer” that gave us some of the worst episodes I’ve ever seen.
